this article just posted actually says hoffman will not be released at all before the end of his contract (ie he'll be with us in 2015 too)

I think if Hoffman keeps his 2013 wing form up, he'd be worth an upgrade. He could be the best winger in the comp IMO (and if not the best, then top 3).

On the other hand I do think our main goal should be getting a gun half before spending too much money on other players.

oh i definitely agree. he can be the best winger in the game, he pretty much was in 2013.

he'd get paid solidly to re-sign, but his future would be secure.

if he goes to the dogs and fails at fb, well then who will want him? he'll be unders prices to be signed anywhere else

the dogs have a number of good young fullbacks on their books. he'd have 1 year to perform there or be discarded quicker than griffin will ever discard maranta.
