I hope everyone had Parker as captain in supercoach..

11 missed tackles from Hunt. But that was to be expected with Paulo running at him.

So who plays centres then if kahu is out.... We have somewhat of an outside backs crisis.

I think the raiders went out there to try and belt us out of the game. A lot of semi legal high shots and crusher tackles. Luckily, while they seemed to be concentrating on that shit there were some fairly easy yards up the middlle for our hard running forward pack, Good to see Ricky Stuart so angry and frustrated on the sideline.

Hard to judge how good we are going from that game. Can't see any of the other top teams making so many lame brain errors as the raiders did last night .

Nice to bank the two points though.

Those raiders halves really know goal line defence. Broncos have just provided the competition with the "Raiders blueprint" . One out the back to the fullback, run at the halves , fall over the line. Try!

This should be Greg Edens card at the Broncos from now on:

At this point i don't really care if the young outside backs have been killing it in the ISC ... select the player who has the most potential and give them a shot ... they couldn't be worse than Eden

looks like the stamp has been provided... haha

Juts read the posts above.... I must be the only one who thought that was one of our best performances of the year in context of the last 5 games in particular.

What a monstrous defensive effort on the whole! We made the Raiders look sod ordinary for most (not all) of the game. Gillett is a beast, and in fact the whole team's defensive effort for the most part shut those green bastards right out of the game. So much for the much vaunted BJ-Rapana combo. We blotted them right out. Even Sterlo commented on that, but it was this team which exposed them, not just inherent deficiencies. Our tactics and our quality defence made them look what they are: lumps of meat and not much else.

Attacking wise, so so much better. I thought our game plan, strategically and tactically was special - it targeted their weaknesses beautifully and that is why Boyd scored those 3 great tries. Very good execution.

Boyd is a very special FB.

Individually, I thought Hunt and Milford lifted but there is so much improvement still there, and the same for Roberts: we still need to get him more involved across the whole park, not just out wide.

Our forwards were simply outstanding against a huge pack which has been dominant for weeks. TPJ? YES.

All in all, I felt that was one of our best performance in ages against a very good side which we made look ordinary. (Now to work on those few defensive lapses which almost let them back into the match ....

After last week, I am so proud of our team.

(Eden NEVER again in a Broncos outfit. EVER)

Boyd and Parker were great, so was McGuire (has he ever had a bad game?) and Oates is such a beast to tackle it's nuts.

The kicking game started off really poor but had improved hugely by the end of the game, which is good..

McGuire has had bad games, but probably not since mid 2011, when he suddenly became a gun.

GOOD! He was frikken terrible, wouldn't pick him even for an under 18s side.

How the hell is he playing 1st grade ?!?! Can't run, can't catch and every 2nd touch he either dropped the ball or got bundled into touch.

Like someone else has mention he makes Maranta a superstar! We need new blood at the wing!

Rapana and Leilua are damaging ball runners, full stop, both have defensive problems and poor temperament.
Our forwards were simply outstanding against a huge pack which has been dominant for weeks. TPJ? YES.

Well I thought it was a pretty good effort from the boys last night, pretty disjointed but the forwards really stood up and gave it to a big Raiders pack.

I thought Waddell was good, sadly Eden hasn't taken his opportunity and looks shakey at best.

Pangai Jr looks to be a good'in, we may very well have our own Taumalolo there.

Injuries are becoming a worry tho.

As mentioned, Waddell was surprisingly good for us.

Eden, probably worst on ground. Thankfully not as bad as Maranta was last week. Absolute shit depth in the wing position.

Boy it's arguable though

Moose and Gillet are just absolute weapons, both so, so important to us. When McGuire's not there we don't have another forward that can step up and give us the go forward he does.

I'm starting to worry about my man Tunza though... I think he may have died, and his spirit has possessed Gillo. Best bodyguard going.

I think Hunt needs to work on his tackling technique a bit more. 11 missed tackles are worrying and the way he approaches a forward is just asking for trouble with jumping up at them

I thought Hunt's kicking game was a bit better tonight. He looks so much better when receiving the ball on the move as opposed to standing behind the ruck and getting it flat footed. Some of his kicks when he was moving were really penetrating. Hope he keeps doing this.

Hunt's kicking game was exceptional.

I don't think thaiday was as bad as everybody is saying. His kick chase was pretty good and really lifted the team in defence. He might have got caught out at marker for that Baptiste try, but I blame Oates more than Thaiday for that. Oates fell and tripped his way back to the line....

How good was Blair off the bench, it was shades of Thaiday v the Roosters last year.

Wayne sure does know how to torture us with an average outside back! Stu Kelly, Tame Tupou, Steve Michaels, Lachlan Maranta, Scott Minto, Greg Eden...... Geeze I miss the days of Sailor and Tuqiri.

Also, Roberts is showing us how bloody good Hodges was!

Boyd is almost as good as KHunt was at the 5th tackle option, it's bloody awesome to watch. We really were robbed of that with Hoffman.

It's a shame he's such a gumpy, because when he actually catches it and run it back, he looks like he could be the goods.

What's the deal with him being picked up and moved around the field though? He looks like a big boy, how??

I must have been watching a different game because I thought Hunt was pretty average, again.

Milford was trying very hard and making dents in the line but didn't have the impact he wanted.

IMO, it almost looks like Hunt and Milford are playing two different games, how is it that every week we are finding ourselves caught on the last and either having someone else take a kick or scrambling to find someone who will? It is not good enough.

Gillett and Boyd were awesome, though Boyd will never score an easier hattrick. Eden may as well hop on the plane now because he's going to see limited gametime from here on in, put a junior there, it can't be any worse.

Pangai is a tank and has seemingly already usurped others into the 17, wonder what this means for Ese'see/Arrow/Offa.
