Thats the worry, our forwards are terrible... with smith there he was able to manipulate and use the middle men good enough to cover the difference the last few years but when he wasnt on his game and the nsw forwards got a roll on were the games we got beat, convincingly last year.
Lets hope napa has one of his 3 or 4 good games a year, but our prop rotation is terrible. We dont even have a fulltime prop on the bemch if the team going around is right. I may be looking through broncos glasses but ofa should have got hess off the team for this game whilst scott is out at least.
I hope Im wrong but i get the feeling c smith sensed this coming and got out just before queensland go through a dark period. This will truly test walters coaching skills... i also hope b hunt doesnt go missing, but in big games he tends to vanish in tough periods... we also dont have the kicking game to kick us out of trouble if our pack is getting dominated...

Some good points but I am old enough to remember a time we regularly picked guys from reserve grade who lifted for Qld.

I was really hoping we picked DCE, Hunt has been good behind that Dragons pack but DCE
is the guy we need . Better game reader/ manager, better kicking game and better pressure player.

Politics aside, there's no way DCE shouldn't be the 7. He's quite easily the best half in QLD, and Milford should, if not be the 6, be heavily in discussion. I can't believe he's not even in contention. I'd say he's actually better now than when he was picked for origin.

It'll be interesting to see if Roberts can play in a structured attack. He's never traditionally liked it throughout his first grade career, he's always wanted to play his way - get the ball early and create something from nothing. If he can learn that in NSW camp, it'll be so good for him.

I think we are going struggle big time. We just dont have the forwards and we are losing so much big game experience in Cronk, Smith and Thurston. I can see NSW dominating for a good few years.

We just dont have the players any more coming through. Our domination of NSW was done while they still had a lot of depth and talent, we just dont have that now so in theory I'd say it will be fairly easy for them to dominate for a period of time.

He probably was in the mix. Every time his name came up, it was probably put below every other name that came up. He's a dog.
