Sack Seibold Now!

It’s true bro.
when I was a kid the broncos would be down by 16 with 10 to go and we wouldn’t bat an eye because we all knew Alfie was about to grubber thru for Kevvie and we’d be sweet.
I remember a game against Parramatta in 1990 we were down 22-8 late in the match having one of those matches where we underestimated the opposition and paying a price for it. Within a 10 minute period we piled on like 16 unanswered points to win 24-22.

I think from tomorrow Cowboys are going to be looking for a new coach as well. If Seibold sees out the next week or two I think he will see out the season as there won't be anyone remotely qualified available. Unless it's going to be one of the sacked coaches.

I don't want Wayne back but I wouldn't be surprised if "people close to him" are sniffing out what is going on at the club, and what will be happening next year..
White could be gone at the end of this year, so who knows.
Hopefully it is not the case but I honestly wouldn't put it past Wayne.
Either way, I don't think Wayne will be at Souffs in 2021, I think he will be either at the Dragons, Dogs or Cowgirls.

**** NO!!

We can't keep going back to a softly softly coach that hasn't kept up with the modern game!!

Fucking dogs or cows can have him

I think 50 emails is more than one or two! The thing with Bellamy is we dont really know what extent, if any he was involved in the cap rort. The main suspects were all in administration posts ( Waldron, Hanson and Gregory the alleged perpetrators ). We know that Flanagan sent 50 or so emails while he was banned ( directly relating to football matters ) that he shouldnt of, and we know he was involved with the peptides to some degree. I'm not sure what offences Bellamy has been proven to have committed.
This is so weird. Emails? That's completely and totally unrelated to cheating. 50, 50000 or 50 million emails, none of it's relevant because that's just a process offence. It was only a 'crime' after the fact, it was a condition or punishment that was imposed AFTER a real offence.

This rewriting/whitewashing of Bellamy's cheating involvement to somehow give the impression that Flanagan had greater guilt is repugnant and plainly stupid. Flanagan knew very well that his entire team was undergoing the Dank programme and he doesn't dispute that just the same as the Essenden coach did. Both men clearly didn't intend to cheat nor did they think what they were doing was illegal. Anyone who thinks more than 100 people from two codes all colluded to cheat and keep it a secret is fucked in the head.

Melbourne however DID ATTEMPT/SUCCEED at cheating. In fact it was systemic and long lasting unlike the 6 week recovery drug programme that Dank sold the two clubs. Fucking emails, who fucking cares. The biggest cheat (in rugby league history) was Melbourne and Bellamy presided over it as Flanagan did with Cronulla. The difference between the offences is measured in light years. If Bellamy is okay to coach Brisbane then so is Flanagan, a vastly less guilty guy.

according to some drunk Keith at the bar a few stools up Eddie Jones will be coaching Broncs next year. I’m not sure if it’s the missing teeth or the fact that he has quite clearly pissed himself but he seems like a reliable source 🤟🏻😁

You have to be joking Huge. In regards to Flanagan you could debate if he knew about the peptide issue, but he was suspended from the sharks when he was back seat coaching. He wasnt allowed to be involved with anything to do with them for 12 months. He was sending emails, which contained him conducting player recruitment and retention, training arrangements, coaching structures and he was even giving his Ok to press releases. Plain and simple, he was banned, he couldnt do that sort of thing and he got caught out. You cant even argue the point really because he clearly broke the rules of his suspension. Case closed there.

Now the difference between him and Bellamy is there is absolutley zero evidence to say Bellamy was involved as i said earlier. If you have any, link it here. And notice i said Bellamy, and not the Melbourne Storm. The certain members of the Storm clearly cheated the cap, its not in dispute. Did Bellamy though? Thats the $64000 question and i doubt we will ever get an answer.

At Parramatta? I think I was there. I was drinking in a bar overlooking the field and making no secret of the fact I was a Bronco supporter. Of course I may remember something that didn't really happen! Sometimes I might blend a memory or two together. Something about losing sight of the ball when a big kick went up seems to ring a bell too. Hi I'm Al Zymer, pleased to meet you. No, I'm not making light of a terrible affliction, it's happening/happened in my family too.

Yeah at Parramatta mate, from memory I think Matterson bagged a double.

God, how can you read a response and miss everything relevant?
There's no doubt Flanagan knew about the supplements ffs as I wrote earlier. Writing emails as an offence is after the fact, after the event at the centre of things. Do you really believe Flanagan thought 'let's get 40 guys together and all take drugs to rort the system and keep it secret'????? The fact that another much bigger club from another code fell for the same pseudoscience should scream out to you that no one thought they were cheating. Naivety perhaps, poor factchecking perhaps, gross negligence perhaps but deliberately cheating?

Melbourne however DID ATTEMPT to cheat and quite successfully too and Bellamy presided over that, there's no argument there. If Flanagan is considered guilty because he presided over that time then equally Bellamy can be blamed. After all, the buck stops with the coach. I'd argue Bellamy knew or was negligent or deliberately turned a blind eye but he was responsible. He's an outright cheat and his team reaped huge rewards. Flanagan on the other hand received no such rewards, his team failing in 2013.

You don't address my question though and it's a simple yes or no question: do you think more than a 100 people from two different codes deliberately colluded and kept secret a plan to cheat? Yes or no? If yes then you need help and if no then you cannot reasonably conclude Flanagan DELIBERATELY tried to cheat. Yes yes, emails emails durr.

I agree, its not that likely that many people did collude ( maybe they are all just that stupid though, i do think they should have checked with some anti doping organisation before handing out peptides ) but for some weird sharkie loving reason you are trying to compare Flanagan to Bellamy and its just laughable, absolutely laughable. For a start, Flanagan knew Dank was involved and he OK'd it. He should have educated himself enough about what was going on so its fair game say he was partly culpable. There is absolutely no evidence Bellamy knew anything about what the directors at Melbourne were doing with their cap. Thats the major difference between those two coaches. We have proof Flanagan knew something was going on with Dank ( if he knew it was illegal or not is irrelevant ), we have no proof Bellamy knew anything about cap rorts.

And as for the emails, your answer to that is just a cop out. Flanagan deliberately tried to cheat. Was Flanagan under suspension? YES HE WAS. Was Flanagan supposed to be back seat coaching? NO HE WASN'T. Did he get caught doing just that? YES HE DID. Shane Flanagan. Durrr. Maybe you need to take a leaf out of your own book here. Did Shane Flanagan try to cheat while under suspension. Simple yes or no.

I asked for a simple yes or no but what did I get? You ask for a yes or no but won't do so yourself. Answer the question and in turn I'll answer.

Oh, it's interesting to note that for some Storm Lover Reason you seek to defend the coach who presided over the biggest cheating scandal in rugby league history and yet to you he's pure as the driven snow! Must have gutted you when they took your premierships off you and punished your innocent and naively childlike coach who had absolutely no idea the bad men in the background were being mischievous. Give me a break. Bellamy, world's biggest cheat...daylight second.

You get what you got. I dont think its likely. You wont answer because for a start, you can only answer yes, and if you do then you are admitting Flanagan is a cheat. I dont think your pride will allow you to do that.

And i'm not defending Bellamy. I've clearly said certain people at the Storm cheated the cap, but you cant convict a bloke on zero evidence. I said we just don't know Bellamy's involvment because no evidence exists to prove it. I already asked you to back up that part that he knew. You didn't because you cant.

I have never said Bellamy is pure as the driven snow either. Back that up or retract it ( if you are man enough to and admit you got it wrong ). Show me some quote's where i have said he did nothing wrong. I plainly said i dont know what offences Bellamy has been proven to have committed in regards to the cap rort, and i said we dont if he was involved or not. I wont hold my breath though as you just seem intent on protecting your slimly sharkie mate and being a smartarse.

So, the gutless squirming continues. It really was a simple yes or no. Had you said yes then you'd look like a conspiracy nut so instead you say it's unlikely!! I didn't ask you if it was likely champion, I asked you, do you believe more than a 100 people were involved in a conspiracy to cheat. I wasn't asking for a sliding scale concerning plausibility, I was asking if YOU believed they all knowingly colluded to cheat. Show some guts, yes or no.
