Yeah but more importantly, how is your fake tattoo?

Some peeps sure have loooong memories round this joint lol

Seriously though, I wouldn't mind Richo in the role...seemed to help put Bunnies back on the right track after years of medocrity..

He did rebuild them from a shit club into a powerhouse, he's definitely an upgrade over White. Isn't he pretty old and retiring though? Doesn't sound plausible.

Doesn't need a long term deal. Just give him the same as kevvy (assuming he is the coach).
Won't make us a powerhouse straight away but he will get us back on track and in the right direction.

Yeah but his brother said that 7 years ago and he's still going, workaholics.

Yeah Richo is no spring chicken, but then again, some might say Ikin is a bit wet behind the ears for the role also. I think both would be great in the job, but yeah if Richo has another few years in him to help steer the footy department in the right direction, he might be one to give real consideration to.

Richo has had success no matter where he has gone, Easts, Sharks, Panthers and Souths he took them all on and Sharks aside took them to success.

Who was his 7 at the Tigers and three Grand Finals 91, 92, 93- P.Green.

Who's his brother?
Perry Richardson, has his own plastering product company amongst others.
Huge rabbits fan with plenty of $$$ , the guy is a machine and doesn't take shit. So if Shane is anything like him he might just be the guy.

In today's CM Craddock is saying that Ikin's hold on the job is slipping, as the club have asked recruiters to go back to the market and see if there are any suitable candidates that haven't applied (and if so, they may be encouraged to)

he does say that the club have received a significant number of applications from high profile persons

They are saying that due to our on field performances the club believe that the new CEO must have football smarts to rewire the club - which is a big tick in Ikin's column.

Phil Goulds thoughts:

“The Broncos business has grown so big,’’ Gould told News Corp.

“I imagine it is too big for one person to have their hands all over the commercial and football side of the business as well.

“Commercially the Broncos have been brilliant and they are a $50 million organisation now. But there are a lot of things that go with that so that man in charge could not possibly have his hands over the football department as well.

“It’s a big job to run the Broncos commercially. Their business is three times bigger than anyone else’s.’’

The CEO has to be a Football brain, if they lack commercial nous then delegate that to someone else.

If Broncos can get back to the Level of Storm and Roosters we could easily double that $50M figure.

Considering the economic outlook for the next few years I just can't see newscorp handing over the keys to someone with very little commercial & management experience.

i thought the same ... which is why we then need to hire a good football brain to run the football program. give this person full authority over the the football operations. Ikin would be a good fit here

The majority of the role is commercially driven. Why would they hire someone who lacks the ability or experience to do the job?
