I really hope he brings something to your team. Time after time a marquee player has gone to a basket case and just failed to perform. Hunt, Taylor, Hayne... Though to be fair sometimes you just got to scrape the bottom of the barrel to come and pray they get it done when you have zero options. The benefit I think is Broncos are actually a competitive team just lacking that direction.

I think that's a fair summary. He won't be able to do it on his own though, so the key will be whether we can put some other pieces in to help him out because as it stands, if we don't, he won't have much to work with. Specifically we need a backrower or two and someone good in the 1, 6 or 9 and currently, we don't have anything elite in any of those spots.

It won’t be a last to premier contender move and I don’t think anyone is realistically expecting it. Pearce to knights made knights a top 8 team after it looked like they’d never play finals again. Obviously Ponga is a massive help, with any luck we’ll score another big name before Reynolds finishes up and it will give us something to build off of.
