NEWS Pangai told to leave

I don't know what to say, most of us apart from the insiders like smokin joe and 1910 know how TPJ is in person but from an outside perspective he is our 2nd best player he might be on decent money but you don't want to lose a player like this, I under stand we don't have the players at this moment to take advantage of what he provides but in a good team he can easily look to be one of the best players in the competition.

There is no question TPJ is the most talented offloading forward in the competition, in a side that works well with 2nd phase play he would be a nuclear bomb to any defense.

I'm so fucking done! The broncos management need to make an apology, they not only lose by 46 but then we find out they have told tpj to go. He's one of our best players and a fan favourite these days. They better have someone to replace him with. And not fucking sua or capewell

Tevita's problems all stem from Tevita's problems. He plays one game in seven. The rest he is lazy in defence and costs us way too much grief to persist with. Sure he seems to have toned the mindless aggression down, but the guy meeting up with McGuire while still on probation was just plain moronic.

I'll miss his games where he makes playing footy look effortless, but I'll be glad to see the back of his lazy inconsistency. Having said that replacing him with Su'a is hardly improving our levels of consistency and Su'a has no offload either..

So he should

bottom line is if the coach swap never happens, we’re beating a seibold destroyed south’s by 46 last night
Yep everyone was disappointed in how we got smoked in the finals with Bennett but wanting Seibold who’s highly inexperienced, for shame.

You watch our games (nah don’t their abysmal) and watch TPJ without the ball. Yes he comes up with some try savers every so often but he rarely ever covers across or tracks the play, there are a lot of times the opposition player steps back inside the centre and TPJ isn’t there.

The reality is the list of people we should be releasing is this:

1) Nolan
.....
2) Daylight
.....
3) Milford
4) Glenn
.....
5) more daylight

Then we start talking about:
6) Isaako
7) TPJ
Whoever else

I don’t agree. Our problems stem from Bennett. He hasn’t come close to winning shit since 2015 and before that 2010?

You cant keep trying to blame Bennett even though there are some things he did that contributed to where we are. We messed up his exit and it had a knock on effect. There is no way in hell we lose some of the blokes we have and we would be as low as we are if he was still here.

Our big problem is still our cap management, and while the coaches have input, i dont think you can put down the stupidity of some of the contracts we have dished out simply on whoever was coach at the time. We have people in place that should have been doing better with the contract negotiations as whether people believe it or not, its not that common these days for a head coach to be involved in that part of the negotiations. The coach basically talks the players into considering a move to his club, others sort out the financials.

The other major failing has been our desire to hold on to any young player with a bit of hype around him. Madness from us and anyone with a knowledge of the game could see trying to have a team full of hyped up kids was never going to work.

For all those people hating on TPJ, I think the problems in the club must be worse than me can see on the surface. If anyone has worked in a dysfunctional workplace, you can see all the signs of a business losing direction and spiraling downhill.
To us fans this a football team but for the players this is their job;their workplace!! Imagine going to work each day with a manager totally out of their depth (Kev), departments working in silos and the bloody CEO and Board telling everyone “that everything’s fine” or “we have strategies in place” (basically code for we think we know what’s going on both are too shit lazy to implement change). I’ve had the displeasure of being in one myself so I certainly don’t blame TPJ for wanting to get out.
You can tell the players don’t give a shit anymore as others have said that players are only playing for themselves. I’ve seen more team work between prison gangs than this excuse of a team we have at the moment. From my humble opinion, without a clear change in management (especially the Board and senior management), it doesn’t matter even if we bring in the 1990s era of players to the club because the way the club is being run will eventually suffocate the life out of any team.

Well Milford and Glenn are as good as gone and the club banished the light years ago so you’ve got 6/7
