We can hold 4th place if the Roosters lose to the Panthers tonight (likely) and the Sharks lose to the Titans, or only win by 1 point (possible). The Storm would have to thrash the Cowboys by 75 for us to take 3rd. Most likely we'll finish the round at 5.
The other important factor is that we’ve now got bit of a buffer between us and 9th spot. Which gives us some breathing space should we have some off games.

Or we could just not lose from here and become the champions of the world.

Wise words- I was rash watching him 30 times and making a call.

He is 19 years of age .
He is now in a different system .

And didn`t I just say the 7 does most of the kicking ?

I am sure his coaches will understand the value of developing his kicking game in conjunction with his team mates .

If in 3-4 years he doesn`t kick I will come back and compliment you on your foresight .

Beating titans and raiders would really be setting us up for finals. Usually 12 wins gets you in and so far out for and against is decent. We are currently at 7 so with 2 more would be 9 and only need another 3 wins to get there. What would be very impressive and actually show we are a finals chance would be to beat the storm. Unfortunately for us, I think they are back to full strength by then.

It's funny you know. A few weeks ago I was like Broncs coming to Melbourne just after I get back from the US...no interest whatsoever. Now, I'm like hmmm this season is starting to have a bit of a 2015 vibe...I think I might go after all.

Well I tell you what, after the first half, you'd be worried about Ezra and say he needs another 12 months. After the second half, deadset man he might well be an ace up our sleeves and might well leap frog Gamble pretty soon. Crazy two halves but he really showed a LOT in that second half.
I had a thought that while Mam may not start the season as Brisbane #6 he may well finish the season there...

If only the Storm reserved their 60 point thrashing of the Warriors for the Cowboys instead. Would bring their point differential within catching distance. Can't believe I'm saying this, but go Storm. Yuck. I need a shower.

Cowboy vs Storm is an interesting one .
Storm below strength . Cowboys on a roll . Gonna watch it .

My son is a Storm supporter . [ I did try to give him a proper upbringing . I failed in some areas . ]
We were talking Storm vs NQ last night . He said Tommy D was the danger man . Jeez how times change eh ?
How old is your son? Surely his brain is developed enough by now to support the Broncos going forward. If not, child services may have to get involved for the utter neglect and disregard shown by you towards your son.

He`s 25 so should know better .
I blame his mother she is a Victorian .

Trouble is the whole time he was growing up the Storm were the team to beat . Kids love to be on the winning team . And after seeing Billy Slater chip the FB in Origin he was going for whatever team Billy played for .

I just don't want to drop Gamble though. He may not be as skilful as Mam, but he is so damn good for team culture. I can't explain how, but he somehow has an aura. it's completely conflicting and confusing.

I want him to be a Bronco for life. Gamble would be an amazing water boy. Maybe he can join/take over from Alfie down the track. I can just imagine him pissing off every opposition player, coach and fan the moment he steps onto the field, constantly yapping away with snide remarks and that cheeky grin, but our team would immediately grow 10 feet tall with his presence alone.

I'm even more disappointed in you. You knew full well that she was a Victorian. Unbelievable.

Yeah , The Gambler has got an X factor going ATM .
I can see Mam winning games for the Broncos in the future . Some growing pains along the way too .

Gonna be tough on Kevie the day he has to drop him .

Would be a great build up too - Reynolds v Townsend, Oates v Feldt again, JT2 v Haas, Cotter v Flegler, Dearden v Gamble/Mam, Staggs v Holmes, Cobbo v Hammer, etc.
