Going purely off ZT, Drew, Ajuma Adams, Vidot, Green, Boyce, Strasser and Shitchurch are all off-contract now.

Carlin and potentially Te'o our only gains.

I've bolded our end-of-16 off contracts fwiw

I thought it was the end of 2018? When I read it I thought it was interesting because he's the only one signed beyond 2017.

Re: Looking Ahead to 2016

Just read that Reed dislocated his shoulder twice in the GF and continued playing, that's a brave effort, he's having / has had surgery this off-season on it.

Re: Looking Ahead to 2016

Regardless of who we sign/release in the off season, we are still going to have a fucking good side next year and im pumped. They will be 1000% better than what they are this year. Going off what Bennett has already said, he hasn't even gotten to the attack yet.
Prop rotation is the only thing that worries me if injuries strike. Would prefer to see Thaiday back to the second row as he can be very damaging when he is on in the second row. Also, would like to see us sign a back up half just in case. I know Niko is there but a bit more cover would be handy even if its just a good 20s player.
I think Oates will be on the wing next year too with our second row stacked and its not exactly a bad thing either.

Re: Looking Ahead to 2016

Our prop rotation is actually going to be pretty good if Gavet lives up to his potential, and also with McGuire back too. Thaiday has had having his best season in a long time at prop. I think that's his position now. Blair has surpassed all expectations I've had of him, Ofa and Wallace have been developing well too, Wallace was great for us off the bench against the Cows.

Basically, I think if Gavet can live us to his potential, we'd be set next year.

Hopefully, Molo's scars won't be too deep and he'll be in the frame as well.

Re: Looking Ahead to 2016

Man I had high hopes for Timu. Fucking brainwashing Mormons and their 2 year missions. Has to shatter a man's confidence and warp his sense of purpose completely after all those rejections... Hoppa is no where near the same.

Next year is looking extremely good and keeping the grief down from Sunday. The depth we currently have and position we finished our first "rebuilding" year in broncos are in for a hell of a decade!

This off season crap needs to end already!!

Also on Glenn: I think he'd do pretty good at right centre if he shed a few kilos too. Im not confident the Teo story will become factual. But we really do need someone of his ability in our second row.

100% agree. Would need more pace to be able to defend the likes of Jennings but he almost plays like a centre now anyway. I'm not entirely sold on Kahu or Copley in the 4 and this could be worth a shot.

Kahu should be locked in on the wing. He takes bombs better than anyone else we have.

I like it ... but i would find a place for Glenn, even if we sign T'eo. I think Glenn is really under rated, and another pre-season under Bennett will do him wonders.

given the reduction in interchange next season i think you can carry a player like Glenn on the bench, but i would start him and have T'eo come on to provide the impact

oh ... and i really like Reed not being in your side

I definitely rate him, I just can't seem to find him a spot. I think the forget I have named is more balanced with him not in it.

In relation to the non-selection of Reed... I think for both Kahu and Copley all they need to become defensively sound is time in pre-season and few games in the centres. They will also be way more efficient in attack than Reed is.
