This isn't if club I grew up loving. Very sad what's happened to it

The club needs a massive shake-up. Nobody seems to like each other, and they all look as if they deserve something when they may not.

The day Bennett went behind the clubs back to try and go to the Roosters was the day the club lost its soul. From that point, players were disheartened and Bruno and Benny clearly stopped working as a team. Since then we hired the wrong coach because our CEO slagged Bellamy off and refused to give him full control of the team so he allegedly took less money to stay in Melbourne. I guarantee we would have a better squad, of focused disciplined players both on and off the field and off field staff who are completely professional. Like Coxy said, stuff like this guts me because I love this club and this is a slide downhill that has been building on and off the field for a long time now.

On Alfie, I am very sad. I grew up wanting to be the guy and idolised him completely, what he did is bitterly disappointing.

Three times over the limit is unacceptable. He would have known he was drunk when he got behind the wheel.

Indeed. If it was .08 or the like, I could sort of understand him thinking he **might** be ok, but at .15, you've got to know you're in no condition to drive

Beautifully said, Gymp, and I totally agree.
The Wayne thing, I believe, was a watershed moment.
There have been a couple of things that happened towards the end of the the 'era' that left a similar taste.
There is a 'style over content' aura creeping into the club and a 'delusion of grandeur' mentality that is difficult to comprehend.

In saying all of that, I quite like our roster this year.
Letting Smith go is an insanity. Creative players are crucial.

we have 4..

Was this before or after table dancing at the Normanby?

It was on a channel 9 news update during the Big Bang Theory. He was in underwear swinging his shirt above his head. He must have had a good night until he got pulled over by the cops.

just got sent a pic of him on a table in his undies. hahaha

I saw it earlier on the couriermail website - looks like he was in no shape to be driving.

I think his days at the club could be numbered.

I know he has always been a larrikin, but it's true what they say about drink driving - "Bloody Idiot".

Here's the pic and a link to the story if anyone's interested.

Well, that's something I could've lived without seeing.

My eyes! The goggles, they do nothing!
