Fair enough Big Pete so who ,in that case is culpable. Should we say then if Wayne Bennett knew why did he not speak up.....??is he not guilty if he knew ??? as should all of those who knew this 'secret' ??? my previous post covers that..just because you suspect does not give you the right to act and that includes his EMPLOYERS

I'd say the NRL knew but turned a blind eye due to Johns' profile. Code was still in damage control and they were concerned about the ramifications such an announcement would have.
