True, I wouldn't have believed it. If a few things fall well for them next year and they get a share of the luck they could make a showing in the eight. The first test will be adversity in the opening rounds and whether or not the lesser paid forwards will put in. It's going to be tough on Fifita no doubt.

The injury curse this year is a puzzle alright. It's a small sample size in reality because we've not had a season like this before. It did make me wonder about young teams (lowest average age) I'd like to see how higher/highest average teams compare across the board. Like over the seasons in graph form etc when considering things like injuries. Naturally with stats there'd be many ways to look through the data.

I'd guess the higher the average age, over three or more seasons might support a notion I had about physical maturity being a key factor in such a high impact game.

Went to one about 15 years ago and there were two kiwi blokes in front of us wearing Warriors jerseys. When the Broncos got ahead and looked to have the game wrapped up they took their jerseys off, revealing Broncos jerseys. One of my favourite non-footy related footy moments.

The other was at last years Raiders game. The dumb pricks brought along their drum and were smashing it all night. I yelled “do you take requests” and he responded saying yeah. I said “how about shutting the **** up then”. Instruments need to be banned at the footy

I've had the pleasure of seeing the Broncos versus the universe but you're right, those Kiwis!

I've been cyber bullied and it reminds of this kid that some great person once knew who overcame adversity and that is how I wanted to face life, to be noted for doing things others could and have done before. If I could say one thing it would be to take care of yourself financially when you can't, be true to others and thank you for the music, incompetence, accountability and the effort is always there, you know what I mean? I know it makes sense.

Being cyber bullied reminds me of the parable of Jonah who gets swallowed by the whale. When you’re all consumed by darkness things can seem hopeless but you have to grab the bull by the horns and even if you don’t hold on for the full 8 seconds, you just have to dust yourself off and get back on the horse.That’s why I changed my Facebook cover photo to the phrase “escape the whale”. That’s what you have to remember when you feel the pressure of cyber bullies.
