Australia in serious trouble now.

Bison, Smudge and Carey need to put on about 140 runs just to get it to a 200 run lead... but they'll want 250-300 run lead at least, which is a long way away.

Will be interesting to see what Smudge is all about right now.

A lot of the time it seems like he gets bored and just hits out after making a start, but we need serious runs this time.

Also a chance for Marsh and Carey to show what value they can bring when the chips are well and truly down
Well Smudge, Marsh and Carey have done well to save Australia and set a good total now.

They all contributed and have got the lead over 300, which is very good compared to the 4/16 that they started at

Great innings from Dean Elgar over in South Africa, especially going to stumps on day 2 at 140* out of the teams 5/250

Imam Ul-Haq upset at getting out there and you know what, I reckon he's got a fair enough reason. That hit him really high on the pad and looked like it was going over but not according to Hawkeye.

Also a right armer coming around the wicket.

Probably shouldnt be giving them unless they’re real full.

Babar with that gap between bat and pad again, and almost undid him again

It seems near impossible for Hazlewood to get an LBW with his height and bounce and the length that he bowls… should probably give it away in regards to challenges whenever it’s for him, unless he knows he’s bowled it real full

Not sure they need to go around the wicket to Masood.

I know it’s the go to for lefties, but I thought that the tactic was more to do with getting them playing at the ball and creating confusion about knowing where their off stump is

Masood seems intent at playing at everything anyway so I would’ve thought going across him makes the angle harder and brings the catchers into it

Why does everyone seem to be bowling considerably slower this summer?

Glad they didn’t burn a review on Hazlewood LBW call

This pitch is doing less for the spinner than it was in the earlier innings.

Getting better with age apparently

Has Cummins come through with another vital wicket when no one else seems like they can

Oof that's another ridiculously difficult decision to have to make. Well done to the umpires on both tricky ones today, honestly.
