I agree with most of this, however, the Andrew Symonds comparison is a bit off.Bumrah and Siraj both heard the same thing and both made the complaint on Saturday they were told to come to the the umpires straight away not wait until stumps. They did the right thing yesterday.
Those people in that area were questioned- that's a good thing not a bad thing- it should get sorted out. I refuse to believe welcome to Sydney was the only thing said all day. India are claiming that someone said brown dog.
How's it any different to when Roy made a complaint on something he thought he heard and Singh was found not guilty- I don't believe Hansen did a great job but that's not this issue. Roy wasn't a liar and should be sued- he heard something or thought he did so brought it forward.
If you think you've heard something make a complaint and sort it out.
He was racially villified by another player and from a team that is ridiculously thin skinned at times. There is no doubt what Harbejan said but the Indian Cricket Board wouldn't hear of it.
After that he was subjected to crowd wide abuse at every match he played and not one thing was done.
Big difference.
