Haha can't believe some comments on Facebook accusing the Blues selectors of racism.

They do know that Laurie Daley is indeginious and so is Fifita and there are black boys Jennings, Hoppa and Tuppi there as well.

One of the comments in the Johnston story said that Nathan Merritt would've played origin at least 15 times if he was a Queenslander. LOLZ

I have always been lead to believe that Laurie himself never explicitly stated he was part-Indigenous till post-Origin career, and that many skeptical Indigenous players over time have questioned whether or not he would have had such a successful NSW career had he announced it earlier. He obviously denies it, but it is what it is.
