Rubbish, I've been critical of Bennett in the past. However when we're discussing the most successful NRL coach in history, the good is largely going to outweigh the bad in a Rugby League context.

He hasn’t won a comp in over a decade and has gone through 4 clubs in that time. He’s clutching at straws clinging to hope he has another premiership in him, but he doesn’t.

I'd definitely put money on him and the Rabbitohs to do it this year

Wowah no definitely not golden staph... he just had a staph infection... lots of people are sick for years and die from golden staph
 
Didn't he nearly die a few years ago from an infection. I seem to remember him being on a drip at one stage, and spending months in recuperation.
Certainly was pretty serious.

No he might’ve been on a drip and he took a while to recover but he was sure as shit nowhere near dying and he definitely did not have golden staph

Why is it clutching at straws? He had this wooden spoon squad as premiership contenders and the 2nd highest winrate in the competition and has taken Souths to consecutive grand final qualifiers. He also just took the QLD SOO team to a very unlikely series win as massive underdogs.

You may have some weird vendetta against him but he always has been and still is a phenomenal coach, even if he's not the best currently.

Golden staph is the most common one, so it's likely he did.
