The US are taking as seriously as we are.

And, your workmates should have been quarantined once they come back from an infected area (Victoria, US, Canada, Mexico, Panama, Dominican Republic & Japan).

I really don't think it is that big of a deal - in Singapore they are treating it like a normal flu because there is less than 1% difference between the two viruses. Thank you Australian media for another scare-mongering beat-up.

It would be ridiculous to quarantine people because they have come back from melbourne or an "infected area". [eusa_doh ffs, get some perspective, the country would grind to a bleedin halt.

What I want to know is why haven't the AFL got this problem? When 75% of their games are in Melbourne?!?!??


Also, just surfed CNN.com's health website. On the front page there is NO NEWS on H1N1 Swine flu. If they are taking it as "seriously" as we are you think CNN.Com would have a story on it? eusa_think

Mum was telling me that all the teachers at her school have been told any of them that go anywhere overseas on their upcoming holidays will have to stay away from work for another week when they get back. Now that's ridiculous.

Meanwhile we are hosting a big National Junior Volleyball tournament at the start of July. We (Qld) are pushing for the Victorian teams to have to stay home - but that's only because they are our biggest threat to winning [icon_lol1.

Why? The game WILL NOT be re-scheduled for starters. It's just not feasible for the NRL. Each team will get a point each.

Secondly, I think we can beat the Dogs on Friday night.
