Steve Price would arse rape Thomas the Tank....but it wouldn't be gay, it'd just be Pricey realigning the universe's chi.

It makes me sad to see the words "Arse Rape" brings back memories of Waterhouse trying to ride me from behind last year while Noddy held my hand :(

It'd be your chance at vengeance. I know you're not a vengeful guy and you let bygones be bygones...afterall, you forgave certain players for their gang ra...err, consent-ambiguous sexual group - of that girl in Coffs Harbour in 2004.

Since gorillas are in danger of extinction, White has been earmarked to replace the last one at the zoo in case that happens.

Unfortunately, the trainers report that so far, the tricks to fulfill the role seem too complex for Brett White to absorb... [icon_shru

Yeah.

I heard they're trying to cross breed him with a gorilla too, but the baby was born so intellectually disabled they had to put it down.

Or make it the NSW captain.

No, it was too intelligent for that.

Here is something from the Foxsports preview:

A clear advantage in key positions

Fullback - Slater v Gidley

In their last four State of Origin matches playing fullback, Billy Slater has scored three tries and created three linebreak assists, while Kurt Gidley has failed to score a try and only contributed one linebreak assist. Gidley certainly brings some intangible qualities to the Blues, but perhaps others would provide more attacking spark.

Lockyer v Lyon

Jamie Lyon has played six matches for Manly at five-eighth in 2009 and 2010 (winning two and losing four). He made one linebreak assist and two try assists as playmaker in those matches. Darren Lockyer, and Brisbane Broncos for that matter, are enjoying a mid-season swoon and he has created 10 linebreak assists and eight try assists in their last six games.

Thurston v Kimmorley

The match-up is simple; with the exception of his kicking game, Kimmorley fails to match Thurston’s attack in every key statistic.

Ballin v Ennis

The big question is whether Manly's Matt Ballin can handle the pressure. The difference between the two is that Ballin offers more graft and, statistically, runs the ball twice as much, while Michael Ennis does bring an astute kicking game to the table.

I like how Lockyer has been killing it in his past 6 games, while Kimmorley is basically a traveller!!

Look at these stats:

Doubts over Brett Kimmorley

The 34-year-old made his first Origin appearance in 2000 and is certainly enjoying a form resurgence in the twilight of his career. But his effectiveness has always been called into question in the big games, and statistics back that up.

Kimmorley has won five of the nine Origin matches he has played in, but two of those have been in dead rubbers while the other three saw Andrew Johns heavily involved off the bench. Billed as the team's playmaker, Kimmorley, in his last four Origins, has not made a single linebreak, linebreak assist or try assist.

Taking it a step further, his last two preliminary finals in the NRL were also difficult. In 2008, Cronulla didn't score a point against Melbourne with Kimmorley making little impact, while in 2009, Kimmorley failed to spark Canterbury-Bankstown who went on to lose the match to Parramatta 22-12. He missed eight tackles in that match and also failed to create a try or linebreak assist.

LOLZ.

Look at you lot getting up at this guy for his comments. CLEARLY some of the stuff he was saying was tongue in cheek. This article was just one big rev up that's all and as usual, Queenslanders take it to heart and have to analise and criticise someone everytime NSW want to get cocky about an origin game.

FTR, regardless of the year or how many series wins in a row they've had, Queenslanders are ALWAYS cocky. You can't compare the cockiness, they have been cocky for 30 years, even if they just come off a series loss, all you ever hear is "Oh we're Queenslanders, who cares if we've got a shit team we'll stick together and kick NSW's arse because we've got passion, we've got this, we've got that, we can't fight, blah blah blah etc etc etc..."

All I hear is blah blah blah Im a dirty blue

I'm finding it hilarious here in Sydney with the ads they're running on very high rotation on TV to promote the game, like "This is our time, we're gonna get our own back this year blah blah blah..." [icon_lol1. [icon_lol1. [icon_lol1.

Wonder what they'll come up with when we kick their butts in game 1 - yeah they'll eat their own and change half the team again - will be fun to watch.

I still recall Blues fans claiming the referees screwed them in that 30-0 game at Suncorp two years ago.

[icon_lol1. Yes, that one was up there with Cartwright blaming the ref for their loss even though they conceded 40 points in a qualifying final!!!!

Wasn't it a few dodgy calls that got you within 10 points rather than 30 last year? Not that I'm complaining we still won, but hey won't it be fun to see the true difference between the teams if the luck is evenly shared. Rock I seem to recall a few occasions when you were dirty at the refs in recent years - when NSW lost surprise surprise. Even when the ref's stuff-ups favoured your side. Pot, Kettle, Black...

But yeah I've been busy, haven't had a lot of time to post on forums. No doubt there'll be a few celebratory posts on Wednesday night though.

I found it even funnier that the ads before the side was picked featured a tug of war between Lockyer/Myles and Gidley/Gallen, and then Gallen doesn't get picked! Quick edit of that ad required!
