Grub Reynolds

I didn't think it was intentional ....more of a brain snap than anything else.

There is no excuse for tripping. Will enjoy listening to Uncle Des' "defence" he has supposedly cooked up.

I'm pretty sure Alfie used tripping as a tactic to help him bring down the big guys.

Oh, it's fine then. Did Reynolds dump you on the head or something.

While I can't flatly deny Alfie ever tripping someone, I imagine it would've been whilst trying to make the tackle i.e. him having a hold of a player and trying to stop the legs moving. Which still gets done today to a degree

Reynolds however rushed up, got stepped and deliberately tripped him after he got beat. Big difference

You are WRONG.

The rules were changed as Alf was an expert at it.

The rules were, you had to have one hand on a player before you could use your leg to bring a player to the ground, then it was changed to 2 hands. And then it was banned to try & beat Alf.

Yet it didn't.

Pretty low on your part to try & justify Reynolds actions to Alfie's

Just so you know.

I actually remember Alf tripping a couple of times and it was never a good sight. However, I don't ever recall him kicking at a player's leg -- from memory Alf used to plant his foot so the other guy would run over him and fall down. I may be wrong but that's how I remember it.

Anyway, that's not what Reynolds did. He actually kicks Barba in the leg, with his feet off the ground and Barba's too. It's way more dangerous. Plus I don't recall Alf ever kicking someone in the face to get a quick play the ball. I'm sure if Nate Myles did it to Anthony Minichiello you'd be on here saying how disgusting it is.

To the mods -- if we can rename the thread to Grub Reynolds, can we rename Broncoman to Bluesman or something?

Have a look at 26s into the video. Barba's planted the ball down and the Dogs players have stopped doing anything that would give the impression that the game is still happening.

Reynolds charges in and tries to push Barba to the ground. Just another reason why Josh is such a lovable fella eh?

You just put that video there so I would jizz again, didn't you Ari? :aetsch:

I honestly can't believe people are trying to defend this dipshit. "He plays with a lot of passion" so what? As do lots of players, but they don't kick people.

He is a bratty little boy who so far as gone relatively unpunished in comparison to the things he has done. He plays like this because he thinks he can get away with it. He thinks he can do whatever he wants on a footy field and he will be sweet because his fat **** of a CEO will defend him with ridiculous insults to the opposition and he will just keep that goofy smile on his face that makes him look like a sped and he gets away with it.

Rubbish, again you have no clue.

Alf would always put his hands on the player first which was completely legal and he would throw them over his leg. There was no force applied with the leg.

Try of the year for mine. Benny can do some special stuff and I really like him at five eight.

On the try itself I just love how pretty much the whole team was involved. We look so good when we keep the ball alive.

Vidot did a great job at getting the ball out and that kick from reed was pretty special.

Reeds a funny one I reckon. He can do some average stuff but them he can pull out stuff like that

Sounds like you're the one who's tripping

He regrets Reynolds actions from last night and cleared that up.

Lord knows there's a few players I've enjoyed who have done some pretty grubby things on the footy field.

I think Tallis was one of those players.

I remember in an Origin game, he scored a try, turned around and gave MacDougall a good right hook.
