Grub Reynolds

Apparently Reynolds "allegedly" kicked Thaiday in the face.

Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs five-eighth Josh Reynolds has today been charged by the match review committee after he was placed on report during the Broncos match last Friday night.
The 25-year-old was placed on report in the 51st minute for lashing out with his feet on Sam Thaiday and was then put on report 18 minutes later for a ‘trip’ on Ben Barba.
Reynolds has been charged with two offences with the decision to be made whether to contest the charges by 12 noon tomorrow.
Charges are:

51[SUP]st[/SUP] minute – dangerous contact (feet); Grade 1 – Base Penalty 100, Early Plea 75, Guilty 100 – Carry Overs to be added – 88; On – Sam Thaiday

69[SUP]th[/SUP] minute – Tripping; Grade 2 – Base Penalty 175, Early Plea 183, Guilty 245 – Carry overs to be added – 88; On – Ben Barba

Reynolds Charged by Match review Committee - Bulldogs

Would hate to see a Grade 5.

What a joke but then again, we already knew the judiciary was a joke.

Doubt you'll ever find a perfect system but how can they deem that a Grade 2? What are the parameters?

It's a grade 2 because he is a bulldog. If he played for the broncos or similar he would be lucky to play again this year.

It highlights how much of a blight the judiciary systems is when the average response to this bullshit is oh well, we know the judiciary sucks.

It has sucked for as long as I can remember, but has golden boy Dave smith done anything to improve it? Of course not, cos you know that would be doing, something

As BP said, would hate to see a grade 5. How do you get a grade 5? Does the attacked leg have to require amputation?

I want to be at the front door of the judiciary with a fold out chair and a bag of popcorn with a **** eating grin on my face.

Lucky you weren't there. I don't think you could have handled Josh's smug grin. :(

Top work from the NRL. I guess they're hoping for a punch on soon.

Bahaha **** you nrl you backward **** eating joke of a professional sport. I hope terrible stuff happens to everyone involved on the match review committee

I never say it because it's the dopiest, stupidest, ****ing annoying thing on the internet but ....

"So much this."

I didn't catch that he'd been put on report twice. ****ing hell. How the hell did he stay on the field as long as he did?

Maybe the match review committee thought the sin bin was an adequate punishment. It's amateur hour at NRL HQ...

You and me both mate. Completely disillusioned with nrl at the moment

I even struggle to turn the Broncos on now. I haven't watched a game not involving my own club for at least all of this season. I simply don't give a shit any more. It's not worth getting angry about the refs making shocking calls, so I just don't bother.

Summed it up perfectly, Nashy. Never thought I'd be so indifferent to a sport I love. I remember when RL was the one-stop shop for entertainment when the Brisbane Broncos rolled into town. I can hardly be bothered now with all the inconsistency in pretty much every aspect of the game.

Unfortunately, nothing seems to motivate the hierarchy much except for dollar signs and ratings. If enough people turn off then maybe things will change...

Having connections with Todd Greenberg ..... automatic reduction.

Would you all be feeling this way if we were the reining premiers and were looking likely to win it again.....?

Disgusted, appalled, but not the least bit surprised. Someone please come up with a well-worded petition so the angry slackasses like myself can add our names to it.

Yep. My feelings about the sport have nothing to do with where the broncos are placed or their prospects.

Their is no consistency or fairness in anything the administration do, and nothing changes. That's why I feel like this and I'm not sure how the broncos winning the premiership would change my frustrations in regards to all that I mentioned

They don't care mate, Dave Smith gets paid either way

Have a look at 26s into the video. Barba's planted the ball down and the Dogs players have stopped doing anything that would give the impression that the game is still happening.

Reynolds charges in and tries to push Barba to the ground. Just another reason why Josh is such a lovable fella eh?

Yeah I noticed that during the game. I like how Vidot gives him a push pretty much saying **** off cause ur not worth my time you little grub.

Yes.

I have been harping about the inconsistent refs for years & years.

The refs are too shit scared to make a decision by themselves in case they make a mistake & by doing so are making worse mistakes.

The refs and ARL/NRL have always been making mistakes and inconsistent rulings. So what's different now? 3000fps slo-mo 3D video replays from 19 different angles, twitter, and the 24x7 news?
