Hoffman's Facebook Comment

I hate what Hoffman has become. Whether he was always like this and it just didn't show through, or he somehow became more "entitled" because of outside influences, it's just a massive shame.

IMO, he really has no reason to even comment on how the situation has panned out, as the move was really his decision. Ironically, if he were the one to have sucked it up, realised he wasn't too good to be "just" a winger, he'd actually be the one in with a shot at being the Broncos' #1. Instead, he went where his chances were better, there's really no bragging in that, he chose to go to the Titans because the competition for the fullback spot is inferior. He should be going "well well well" to his short-sightedness and ego-driven decision making.

So, it's really one word...'well' From which people are deducing it is not only about Boyd but also its denigrating him and gloating ! Gee, that's not reading between the lines,there are none ! That's reading between the letters !

I can see how people are confused since the browser says Twitter but everything else about that format suggests Facebook.

I've made it clear from the start that I was merely responding to the perceived implication as it is something I have seen posted on multiple websites, not by Hoffman but by others and I don't like how people are trying to split hairs over it. 'It isn't about the injury, it's about the situation' - it's the exact same thing! It's an unfortunate situation and nobody with any self-respect should be getting any kicks out of it.

It maybe an idea for [MENTION=1976]Nashy[/MENTION] to post his source up because if it turns out these comments were fabricated this entire thread should be nuked.

No just all this Hoffman hate from everyone on BHQ gets annoying. It was the same with Griffin. Whatever he does, it always seems to be the wrong thing. Everyone on BHQ just needs to move on. He's no longer a Bronco so why do we still care about what he says or does.

Firstly 'everyone on BHQ'? There are a huge amount of people that have either supported Hoffman or said nothing.

As for myself and others the only time we have had a go at him is when he has done shit things, like this incident, the photos all last off season. When people do shit things others will usually call it shit, that's life

It's not like I don't like reading negative stuff about Hoffman, it's just I feel some people over react to even the littles things he does. All I'm saying is, that I don't see what's so wrong with what he said. Likewise I didn't see what was so wrong with the photos. It was photos with kiwi team mates, "whoop de f*cking do". What are the other sh*t things he's done?

By the way, yes I was wrong in saying everyone on BHQ, but it does seem some members (no one in particular) are constantly on his back.

The comments section, the way the time is displayed, the icons down the bottom that have news feed, requests, messenger etc and the fact that there is no @ before Josh Hoffman says it's facebook. To be more specific, that pic is of the mobile version of facebook..

They are the only social media company on this planet that has that format..

It looks like someone took a screenshot of the comment and posted it on twitter.

I dont get why everyone is adamant he "left because he wanted to play fullback". He just played 5/8th for basically an entire season ffs! He clearly played wherever the coach told him to. Sure, he might have wanted to play fullback, but he still stayed an played in a shit position he wasnt suited for. He got pushed because of boyd and thats all there is to it for me.

Good luck at the Titans champ with a bottom 4 finish. Those saying he was pushed out of the club seem to have forgot at the start of the season all the commotion him and his father were making about him not getting preferential fullback treatment. He still cant pass to save his life and I'm glad we got rid of the sook. If he was gods gift of fullbacks Peter Hiku (a part timer from manly) wouldn't have beaten him to the fullback position for the kiwis

The photos were taken at the time where all the rumours about wanting a release to the Bulldogs were floating around, contained ONLY the kiwi players that played for the Bulldogs and featured the hashtags #releasehim and #proudtobeabulldog

He was told that they wanted him to play on he wimg, the only position he is good at.

Is it a guarantee he would be an automatic substitute at fullback for Boyd? Injuries are part and parcel of the game. I don't necessarily agree with the notion that we put all our eggs in one basket with Boyd. Surely WB and Broncos management wondered about the prospect of a long-term injury to all of our spine players and have a replacement in mind if the need arises.

It's very telling that despite this, Hoffman was still told he was free to leave.

And he whinged and bitched the whole time when he was on the wing or not going to play fullback. You saying hating on anyone is ridiculous by the way. He wasn't shafted, he was told he can look elsewhere if he wasn't happy. Why do obvious things like that need to be repeated so often? Both him and Barba weren't told to leave.
