Hastings has been forced to undergo surgery with plates and screws to repair a fractured fibula and surgery for syndesmosis. "That likely means a minimum of three months recovery and more likely four to five months," Knowles says. "This is a very serious injury that could impact on player Hastings' career".

So any illegal tackle causing an ACL could ruin a players career, is a 12 month injury, should have a 6 month suspension minimum.

Have they showed the McGuire tackle that we're proposing to use as part of the defence??

It takes all of about 5secs to find it online so they should have it loaded up to show what is being put forward as part of the defence... but they're probably scared shitless to do it because it's a fucking shocker

NRL 360 have just showed a Tatola tackle from last weekend that has injured kennedy (out until finals). it was a classic hip drop, no charge
