Mitchell Pearce Incident

As if the Tele wouldn't do the same if it was a QLD player! Please...

Yes Rugby League media in both the courier and tele is full of agenda driven cretins like Rothfield who just use their position to mock and destroy one another with no care for facts and an impartial view. I know the tele writes the same rubbish as the QLD press but it's vica versa which is why I dont bother with either.

He's one of the blues most senior players. Of course it fucking matters. Take your blue glasses off.

Pearce should have known better. It's not like it's not a common thing. People have been doing it for years. Hell, the media even released their reward amount for any videos or photos of star players getting in trouble. I think Johns was about $100,000. And I'm pretty sure Lockyer was $250,000.

He is the captain of an NRL club and a NSW representative. He should know that there are people out there that would take advantage of these situations.

It's not hard to act like a decent human being.

Edit: And I should refresh the page before posting...

Copley and Jikorima facing a minor fine for being there.

They're being investigated, but it's pretty clear they were doing nothing wrong, and they can't get fined simply for hanging around a deadbeat like Pearce.

I hope the punishment is the Roosters have to sign Pearce for life at his current $700k per year, indexed for any future salary cap rises.

Copley/Jiko being fined? Lol.

They're new to the club and were likely invited by the captain, pretty hard to say no to that.

If all this gives a chance for Jiko to play in the 7 at least it'll give me a good reason to watch the Roosters games early on.

Maybe if they tried to intervene they wouldn't be investigated & wouldn't be facing fine.

So we're implementing The Good Samaritan law from Seinfeld? Fair enough.

Roosters say they shouldn't have been there. So there must be more to this that we aren't hearing.

I would say the club has an alcohol ban & maybe a curfew.

Of all people Copley & Nikorima hang out with, it shouldn't be pisshead Pearce.

In just one video, Pearce has sexual harrassed a woman, been racist, simulated a sex act on an animal & 'made jokes' about being gay.

The club apparently gave all players free cab charge to get home. Pretty much telling them to get blind on Aus day. Great culture we have
