Rape is a tough one, as i t can easily be a he said/she said situation.Stiff shit, don’t put yourself in the position of their being enough evidence against you for the prosecution to be confident that he can win a case of rape against you.
A couple decide to have sex, the girl later claims rape.
You think a person should be denied his career because of accusations?

Its not my point of view, its due process, its how the legal system works, except in this case it seems.I understand your point of view, you don't need to explain it again. I don't agree with it. Being stood down for such a horrible investigation is acceptable to me, regardless of the occupation.
Perhaps the laws should be changed.
Also im not defending Debelin, not for one second, i think if he is guilty then he should burn for it.
However you enter murky water when you start working against the system.
Whats to stop a girl from sleeping with an NRL player in the future and then just accusing him of rape, knowing full well that it will end his career, even if he is completely innocent?
There are shitty people out there, who will do anything for money/clout.
Its why we have laws and due process.
