Great essay. It's amazing to think that in all that you missed two key points (well not really amazing because it doesn't suit your a agenda, but hey)

1. He was offered a million plus to stay at the raiders before he signed with us, so if it is all about money why not take the million then?

2. If it was all about pushing his price up why the stories about his sick father etc for an early release? If your story is true that was all completely pointless and incredibly insulting to just about everyone

2. He wants to be with and look after his family, there's no doubt about that. The Raiders have made it happen by helping to move his family to Canberra, which is what Milf always wanted. Problem solved.

By the way I don't live in Canberra, but I did spend my entire childhood there and can verify that it is a wonderful place to live. If you must know I live in Byron Bay, 30 mins from QLD, and yes it is an aweful day actually, huge storms all day. The same storms are traveling up and passing over Logan and the Gold Coast as I type this. So much for "the sunshine state" huh haha

If Canberra is such a great place to live why are so many of your players trying to leave... You know guys like Dugan, Carney, Ferguson... You got to give them credit I supose for toughing it out as long as they did.

Carney always wanted to stay, in fact he begged the Raiders board to keep him on the day that they stupidly fired him. Go and ask the Greenhouse, I've always disagreed with our choice to fire Todd. Dugan and Ferguson had issues with Furner and are just backsides anyway (to put it as nicely as I possibly can). Both great players but not great people. I'm glad they're gone.

FTR all those articles are from News Limited and were written after his manager started the bidding war. As News Limited own the Broncos, those articles are completely useless, you may as well have written them yourself. Any quotes from Milf or his manager are them playing the game and getting the best deal they can by playing the two clubs off against each other.

2. Thanks to Dugan and Ferguson we have plenty of cash to spend under the cap. Their departure has been a huge blessing.

All of Queenslands greatest stars? Hmm maybe just Belcher, Backo and Mal. Wouldn't really add Mogg, Schifcofske and Shillington to that list.

Now that I will agree with! The mods at the Greenhouse are forum Nazis. I'm their worst nightmare. During the Carney saga I got "banned" countless times for simply arguing that we should have kept Carney when most of that forum wanted him gone. When he won the Dally M with the Roosters I became the vindicated (thus my forum name here and there) and was banned again. Only thing is banning someone is impossible and I was always back within 5 mins.

Actually the last report said that our offer was 450k... And thats also what zero tackle has him down for.

So double that is 900k, close enough to a million he turned down. The last report coming out of Canberra was a renewed offer of $1.2 million. Which would be tough for the kid to turn down, I do admit. Especially since it was put in salary in the top 5 in the NRL.
