Origin 1

Lol. There are a thousand frames which will show Hayne's foot not touching the sideline. He ran right next to it for 30m! Just because there is one frame from around the time he is said to have gone out, which shows his foot maybe or maybe not touching the line, doesn't mean there aren't any from that angle that show it touching.

And schmix, I recorded it on my computer from Nine HD last night, so I'll go through frame by frame and see if I can find one from that angle that's more conclusive. And clearer.

My view onthe game... QLD 28 NSW 18 mmmmmm NSW is officially the sore loser factory headed by Craig Bellamy

HAHAHA...

Gidley MOM for the oppostion team.
McManus stick to drugcastle
Jennings can run fast but which direction
Lyon Fat and piggy looking
Hayne Backward somersault with pyke twist
Campese no realtion to David according to the man himself.
Wallace. MIA
Kite Lanky garbage
Farah SOFT
Bailey slow
O Donnell needed to bring back the biff
Creagh only bloke I would select in the Aussie team from NSW
Laffranchi stick to holidaying on the coast

Poore mans Steve Price
Weyman proudly sponosored by Big Dads Pies
Lewis have a shave you git
Wing showed Farah how to play

I think Rock is just trying to sh!t stir us all folks.

Farah soft? Haha.

Ahh dear. I think last night proved how tough Farah really was. He was SO strong in defence, the QLD forwards kept coming and coming and coming, yet Farah's defence was rock solid.

Last nigh also proved that if Farah is the second best hooker going around, then Cam Smith has nothing to worry about for the next 10 years.

I am giving shit to one of your QLD buddies who clearly has no idea if he thinks Farah is "soft". ROFL.[/quote:3bpdc09o]

Farah = Marshmellows :mrgreen: ...

What an awesome night. There were plenty of Queensland jerseys walking the streets of Melbourne yesterday (and even a couple of NSW jerseys too). Just as much fun as the decider in 2006. Docklands may be an oval shaped ground but close the roof and it has a cauldron-like atmosphere. The crowd really came to life in the 65th minute when NSW drew within a converted try. There were neutral VIctorians al around us getting worked up. It's still probably a novelty to Melbourne sports fans but I think there is merit in having an Origin game down here every few years. There will be a good crowd on Friday night too.

My thoughts:
- Thought Hayne's foot was out but I agree with Bellamy that if t video referee looks at the replay that many times he should award benefit of the doubt. Funnily enough I would have been able to live either decision.
- NSW probably take more out of the game than Qld. To get that close after Qld waltzed away early is a credit to their team and they are a good chance to win in Sydney.
- Thought the Blues first try was fair. Hayne threw it back first and it floated forward, fair try.
- Inglis in full flight = awesome.

Let's do it again in another three years... It's a fun week...

I actually thought Farrah had a good game on a losing team. Much more dangerous out of dummy half than Smith. And as much as it pains me to saw it, Hayne was very good too. If only he'd get that divign shit out of his game and HTFU

Pfft, Farah is over-rated. He is a douche, he acted like it was his God-given right to wear the NSW number 9 jersey once Buderus retired.

Wing was a lot better out of half.

My thoughts;

- Smith taught Farah how a hooker plays Rugby League. Owned him in the first minutes by planting him on his back with a big palm off. Owned him early second half by stepping straight around him.

- Ebony and Ivory are beautiful men.

- Harrison and Myles were brilliant.

- Thurston OWNED the game and his kicks (massive kick in 60ish minute is as good as 4 points, because without it NSW would have scored. Then his kick to pull up in goal was the final turning point.

- Lockyer has finally eclipsed Langer in my eyes. He has the rarest of skill sets that only one other player (The King) I've seen has; he slows down time.

- Slater's passing game was sensational and none of you have even mentioned it, even though one pass lead to a try and 3 lead to line breaks. I'm sorry BHQ, I don't want to sour the thread by bringing it up again, but with Slater there, there is no room or need for Hunt in the team. The only option to keep him is to move Falou to centre and Hunt to wing, however Hunt's defense on the right side was a weak point all game.

- Jennings is quicksilver.

- I love Queensland.

- Gidley should have necked himself. Best.Captain's knock.Ever.

- Hayne's foot was out.

- Even if the pass went forward with 'momentum" (lolz, ) then it is a knock on.

- I would pay money to see someone hurt Bellamy.

Yeah I thought Billy was quality again last night, his football instincts are second to none he just bobs up at the right moments and last night he pulled off almost everything he tried. Playing at the pace he does means things do go wrong occasionally but you always know he will make things happen for you.

I thought Harrison was superb and just for a change Crocker was everywhere, Gus touched on QLD winning the big "Origin Moments" Crocker lives for them, the amount of times he was the first in kick chases, diving on loose balls, on the player offloading or busting throughs edge for a pass or making desperate covering tackles he is amazing. No wonder coaches love him so much he is an ideal rep footy player.

My thoughts.

Firstly, Rocky is a douche. Dude that thing you said earlier in this thread about nobody would've scored that try other than Slater therefore QLD are just lucky - worst argument in the history of this forum. Smith kicked it for Slater. It was a planned move FFS!!!!!!!

OK, that's out of the road.

Still on Billy he was sensational. And Karmichael did a good job when handed a tough task off the bench.

Thought Harrison was unlucky not to get Man of the Match. He just kept going and I can't believe I left him out of my team a few weeks before the selection.

Still, not complaining about giving it to Thurston, and Ebony and Ivory would've been just as deserving.

Inglis was awesome as well. By the end of his career, he will go alongside Mal Meninga in the centres of the greatest ever Queensland Origin Team.

Thought Cam Smith could've run a bit more but I suppose in the end it wasn't really needed. That's the best thing about our performance - Lockyer and Smith just did organisational work. So that's 2 weapons that went unused last night _woohoo_ The Maroons didn't even use the whip in the home straight!!!
