Apart from all the obvious reasons why it would be a terrible idea, the kid who tahu was alleged to have racially vilified is on the broncos books and i would suspect his father wouldn't be too impressed if the club looked to sign him.

If he got his head right and we convinced him he is a winger not a centre, I would take him. Was the best winger in the game before he moved to centre for Newcastle. But there is too much downside with him.

Yeah but who's he? He's no dual international. That whole 'saga' was a beat up from the dad to get his kid some publicity.

At his best Tahu is a beast in defence and can go all out in attack. Just needs his head in the right place.

It's only a one year deal and we have plenty of money to spare. If he goes alright, we'll give him another year, if not, we'll tell him to bugger off.

It adds a bit of depth to the squad which is always useful.

Firstly, I've never rated him. But secondly, does anyone honestly think that's ever going to be a possibility???

The money was there to spend, so why not...He might not be the kind of player we've been looking for, but as said above, he does add some depth in case of potential injuries and throughout origin. Plus if he's hopeless next season he wont be given an extension, simple.
