The media never seem to write up the injury crisis properly. We have not just missed Adam Reynolds this year... We have also missed some other pretty enormous names.. .Walsh, Haas to name a few for extended periods...

Maybe we're not the only club to have players out. Check out the Raiders, for example:

I don't think it is necessarily a bad thing for us to have some new assistants coming in next season. Cartwright has been around for a while now. Next season is a real big season for the club and Kevvie. If we aren't top 4 and pushing for a Grand Final we will need to seriously consider some changes. Our recruitment and retention decisions are critical moving forward also. Squad balance is beyond poor. 4 hookers in the main squad and none of them have genuine utility value.

I expect Hannay will be sniffing around.

Agree, if you look at it currently. But if you think about our season, who has been missing and when, its a massive mitigating factor I think to the coaching.

The evidence is, when our players are fit - we are a grand final team. When we have unrelenting injuries to all of our key players for multiple consecutive weeks, we are a bottom 4 team. Makes sense really.

Yeah I'm thinking most clubs in the comp, outside of riff and maybe the storm (who both haven't had close to our injury toll this year btw), would struggle losing their: HB, FB, 1st choice Prop, wing, centres, both second rowers, backup FB, backup HB, and depth forwards. Not to mention the mid-game injuries to key players (spine members) that have cost us 3-4 games this year.

RL 'journalists' neglecting to mention this when writing rage bait/ fear porn articles about Brisbane is par for the course, of course.

Everyone has injuries. The Storm and Panthers are top of the table without Munster and Cleary respectively. Dolphins have been pulverized all season.

We were only missing Reynolds, Staggs and Arthars when we lost to the bottom of the table Titans. But we had Mam, Walsh, Carrigan. Cobbo, Haas etc. Titans had names like Weaver and Randall in the halves.
