One thing that I can’t stop thinking every time Herbie scores is - either he himself or the team cheer one another/congratulate. It just seems like a training drill where the task gets completed and everyone moves on to another training drill. On the other hand, if someone else scores, it’s all fist pumps, jump on top of each other and happy days. Wonder what’s the reasoning is.
Yea I noticed that too. Herbie just doesn't seem to celebrate as much as the others, so I think the rest of the team just takes his lead.

He's probably just keeping it all in until the grand final.

Who is that at the end that Kev was talking to?

Normally I would agree with you on point 8. Re walters/paix but I actually though Billy was marginally better tonight.

But It's hard to compare them when Billy gets to start with Payne and Pat getting the ruck rolling and paix comes in behind lesser props and the ruck doesn't get a flow on quite so easy.

For science it would be interesting to see their rolls reversed.

Billy is a waaay more effective tackler .
Take note of who chops the opposition middle`s legs off early in games . Paix is a catcher tackler . Doesn`t stop runners like Billy does .

Hard to gauge how good we were because Manly was horrible. It really looks like the Storm win was an outlier. Walsh, Walters, Haas all played well. Walsh will make errors but if he can offset those with try assists I can handle that. Still trying to throw some silly passes. Staggs rebounded with a solid game. Nothing flashy but hopefully settles him down.

Did notice that Fleglar drifted out to the sides and was targeting DCE with his runs. Maybe we've done that all season but I noticed it tonight. Was almost NAS like.

The Broncos are definitely targeting opposition players to fatigue them this season.
Payne running wider of the PTB with longer passes from dummy half to avoid the markers . I have noticed .

The Herbie try was after they made DCE do a lot of work . Then Herbie goes one on one and over powers him .

Yet Patty seems to do the opposite and more often than not runs back into the markers and ruck area. It's clearly a deliberate ploy.

I was at the game last night and noticed that when the other team has a tap Reynolds stands on the wing and Cobbo defends one in for the first two tackles before they swap positions. Must be trying to prevent teams running plays at Reynolds like we did at DCE.

Was hard to tell at the ground but once I watched the replay DCE was easily their best player and without him we would have put near 50 on them.

Great win and much better performance than against the Bunnies but hard to get a handle on it as Manly were really bad in sections. Hopefully getting into the grind in the second half will be good preparation for next week as I'm sure the Storm as usual will turn up to play against us.

Maam missing so many tackles was a worry and I'm sure the Storm will be looking to work him over big time.

Precisely, I remember they ran NAS at him all night and worked him over.
