Good loss to bring back to earth. Lack of discipline in structure and grind. Only came kind of good late in the second half with fight.

Refereeing was atrocious, but didn't lose the game.

As resistant as I am to give Stuart credit, he outcoached Kev. The Raiders made a concerted effort to take Walsh and Reynolds out of the game, and it worked. That plus knowing wrestlemania would get in our heads and it was a well planned "ambush".

We were never even in it from the opening set.
Super disappointing performance that lacked effort and commitment but probably predictable given the consistently high effort over the first 5 weeks.
This should bring them down to earth, expose some real areas we need to improve and force us to re-focus and reset for next week.
At least Reynolds and Walsh didn’t sustain season ending injuries - Canberra play such grubby football.. especially Hudson Young.
Haas again our best, Cobbo again our worst.
Cobbo was great. Rikki was one of our best. Second half was fine. First half they came out of the blocks fast and got us by surprise

Don’t have Kayo anymore so didn’t catch the game but bhq blowing up at the ref after a loss is pretty par for the course. Are you guys sure we didn’t lose fair and square for once?
We did not deserve to win it, full credit to Canberra. I would have been shitty to lose that if I were a Canberra fan.

This game is why I'm in the kevs not a good coach box.
He hasn't fixed the obvious problem of low percentage plays especially inside 30 .
We aren't running the block plays well at all Walsh has made some look good with pure speed but when was the last time we stripped numbers for a winger to score untouched.
Riki and Capewell can't play every minute of every game , what's his plan there?
Areys kicking is off and has been since late last year.
Time to give Walsh a crack maybe.
Carrigan needs to stop being a ball as much and get back to making ground up the middle and especially off the back of Haas.
When Hass bends the line and gets a play the vall away we shoukd be going down the middle more but we go wide straight away too often.

We need to change the game plan when its not working having Carrigan play that kind of role. ITs pretty obvious thats how we set up. He can easily just switch back to a hard running prop. I still think all our forwards are trying to be ball players way too much right now. They need to go back to winning the physical battle before they start the other stuff. Our offloading tonight was just dumb a lot of the time. We played too desperate.

Barely anyone has said we didn’t deserve to lose.
Yeah - we definitely lost that - the ref decisions were hard to take, particularly the rapana call, that was absolute horseshit.

But we did NOT play well at all and that's actually been for a few games now. Tigers was a training run.

ARey's kicking this year has been substandard. (Walsh was striking them beautifully pre-season, not sure why he's not kicking).

Mam's trying to be too flashy.

Herbie's been good for about 2-3 poor errors a game now - time for a rocket.

Too many pushed passes and offloads that were never on.

Our 5th tackle options in the opp 40 have not been good enough.

Lots to fix before next week or we might find our run of good luck crashing into the rocks.

Frustrating game, we fell for the trap and got humbled. Ridiculous penalty on Marty imo, are players just not supposed to chase kicks now to avoid these freak accidents? Anyway we played terribly the whole game, so I'm not too mad about the referee tonight.
Defence and kick chase was terrible tonight. Need a big bounce back game next week against the Titans.

I thought Walsh and Cobbo were the only ones that turned up from the backline tonight. Walsh could've scored instead of offloading, and Cobbo was out of position or overrunning a couple of times, but the effort was there from both of them.
From the forwards, I felt like Haas was the only standout, but that's just expected from him, he's from another planet. I thought Jensen and Palasia were solid, the latter was surprising as I don't really rate him if I'm being honest.

Overall just too many mistakes and too hungry for the big plays instead of just building pressure.

I’m relieved that we will play Tits on the Cost next week. Goodness, Suncorp’s turf looks terrible. We anyhow won’t play there for couple of weeks. Hopefully, it gets better for our R9 game.

I remember Nelson from Melbourne kneeing someone in the head and knocking them out ice cold, don't think it was a penalty either

I don’t like to ref bash but:

1. Mam’s high shot was a good fucking hit that was so soft. If high why not HIA?

2. Cobbo gets shoulder charged, just because he scored the try that isn’t a sin bin?

3. Again the rapana call is pathetic and soft, that is as much of a penalty as flegler copping the elbow
Agree with all of these.

As much as I don't wanna go back and watch this game again, I am at least keen to see the bomb that Walsh put up that Kris made a big return from. I was busy ball-watching and didn't watch our chase (or lack thereof), what the hell happened there?

Having said all of this, was that post true about a betting agency offering $4 for a Broncos win? That sort if shit just gets me off-side, even if the max bet is capped. The objective is for the betting company to lose thousands, but get a whole lot of people registering accounts, which is well worth it in the long run. But why this game, especially now that we saw what happened...?

Carrigan is garbage?

Excuse Me What GIF by Bounce
Lol. Patty is probably our best player. I think he means the meat patty he ate at half time was garbage.

We played a shit side missing their best players.
and you think they played as shit as the last few games?

their forwards played better than anything I've seen this year and the players they missed haven't been at their best this year as well.

I did say straight after the post, when you see that sort of shit you should be nervous.
