I think Kaufusi will get off, it didn't look high or even that late, he just hit him hard, the Sua'ali'i hit was worse.

Really the Broncos are on a hiding to nothing for this match, a win will just get brushed over and the media will just praddle on about the Dolphins being brave or some shit, if we lose they will just death ride us and all we'll hear is how great the Dolphins are and that Wayne Bennett is a god.

Best thing to do is put 50 on them.

I think actual dolphins have created a forum to talk about dolphin shit and a few people from Redcliffe have started posting their thoughts on the footy club. I could be wrong though.
Be no-one on there every 2nd Thursday - they all have to march down to Centrelink to explain what they've done to find work last fortnight...

I must admit though, this is a danger game for us, its their GF for the year and everyone knows it.

Thing is, they havent come up against this bloke yet.

I did wonder what moving Lomax from the right centre position would mean defensively for the Dragons, Arey was obviously keen to find out too...

He shaped the defence all night to expect one outcome but then delivers something else. Lomax tried his best but once he turned his back looking for the chipped grubber, Arey does his stuff.

Recce runs a wonderful line into a shortened defence and then its simply draw and pass for the try.

Great work again by RLW here...

I couldn't help myself...

How long before the trolls outnumber the fans over there?

It's a tough one. I can see how he can argue he was already committed to the tackle. But I also agree with what Andrew Johns said about it being a cowardly hit that needs to be rubbed out. I think in these borderline cases, instant 10 in the bin should be enough dissuasion from making it a habit, and then leave it to the MRC whether to go on with it. In this case, I'd probably give him benefit of the doubt the first time he's on report for it.

Such trash on 360 saying this game is Kev’s biggest test up against Wayne. Well… Kev coached against Wayne twice last year and won both! And South’s had a far better side.

I’m all for hyping the game, but show some factual insight FFS.
I just can't watch 360 this year. The formula seems to be talk about the roosters and panthers, lay the boot into the tigers/knights, run a small eye over the other sides and repeat. It's just utter trash for the most part.

The rock climbers are going to be crying over that one, just like they did in 2015 when Broncos did the same thing with their home jersey reveal.

I thought the same thing.

Souths have the bye this week so Hetherington might get another week if he is coming back through Cup.

I get all the sentiments here......but

Halves / kickers should not be a protected species. They can't have all night and day to decide what kind of kick they'll execute and to where. They have to feel the pressure.......

Its been this way for eons and as a former half, I well remember that if you **** about too long and dare to turn your back to the rushing defence

you will get smashed......

and rightly so...IMO.

It doesn't just apply to halves and kickers; it's judging what is a "late tackle." And that can be so split second it's ultimately subjective. Plus it also applies to taking out kick receivers in the contest when you're not really going for the ball. Riki has been sailing precariously close to the line on this.

When you hear how differently Joey and Billy see the same tackle, I think we have to accept it's down to the individual judges on the night. We can't expect everyone to agree on the decision. Just accept that it's been taken seriously enough to go through some form of examination.
