2 tries apiece. Parker's kick hits the post and goes in. JT's kick hits the post and goes out. On another night, it's a different story.
Massive time in possession to the cows, as well as time in opposition half and tackles in opposition 20 to the cows. Also metres gained big for cows. Also translates into more drop kicks, caught ingoal etc.
We make such a huge rod for our backs by kicking straight to FB and wingers, as well as allowing opposition to make easy metres to eat us up. Something needs to change or we are finishing the season in two weeks time. We lost 4 of our last 6 in regular season and fluked this one, to a degree.
It is also not really fun footy to watch for fans - constantly defending the goal line, and having a couple of shots inside the 20, each half. Who the **** really wants to watch that everytime we play a top 5 side?
Sure we are winning, for now. But who really wants to watch that sort of footy?
No chance, in 2 weeks, unless kicking game and defensive attitude when defending in opposition half don't change.

Sorry mate but this is crap. That was one of the best games of the season. I'm a season member and have loved the show the boys have put on this year.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing last night actually.. I was thinking to myself "Oh boy, here comes another useless Hunt bomb" and then I realised he's literally taking his 5th tackle options 40+ metres out, probably 90% of our sets, there's not much he can do apart from that. We miss McGuire's go forward.

Maybe Hunt does it on purpose so the opposition doesn't get 7 tackles.
He isn't a kicker like Cronk or Thurston.. Quite a few times when he tried to kick a ball in the in goal, it would go over the dead ball line.
So instead of risking that, he puts up the bomb and gives his chasers time to get there and tackle the fullback as soon as he gets it.

If we are not in a position for an attacking kick, then he should be kicking to the corners trying to find the grass. Not allowing the fullback and wingers to catch it on the full.
If we allow RTS (and to a lesser the rest if the Rorters 3/4 line) to constantly catch the ball on the full, he will burn us.

We pretty much have the resign ourselves to conceding 50+ metres each set once again when we play the Roosters. RTS is the best fullback at bringing the ball back, SKD is one of the best wingers at taking the 2nd tackle, and then there is their forward pack.

It worries me that last time we played them they were always in control after losing their halfback and best prop early in the game. They bombed a few tries as well. Hopefully they have a shocker next week and the dogs get up somehow.
