Neither will TPJ
He’s a Tongan international
Neither will TPJ
Oates was where he was supposed to be, but the defensive line was far too compressed for that situation. No argument that he missed the tackle, but he got stepped because he had too much ground to cover and got caught scrambling sideways.Yes, he was staying back as any good winger should in such circumstances, but still covering his man. I'm not overly critical of Tom. It was a good play by the Dogs, Hoppa stepped inside and beat him, end of. I can do stillshots too:

No, he really didn't. Watch the video again, and you'll see he has Hoppa well covered. He rightfully gave his outside shoulder to Hoppa, but just bumbled the tackle when he was stepped on the inside.Oates was where he was supposed to be, but the defensive line was far too compressed for that situation. The worrying thing for me was the break was made by Hoppa............Hoppa for **** sake!!!
People bash Opacic for doing nothing in attack, but had Isaako been any better? I haven't seen him run much faster than Opacic yet.
Exactly the same was said of Reed but now Reed is considered a huge loss.He is pretty sound defensively but he is way too slow to be a centre. He is the most lumbering outside back since Daryl Halligan. I'm a fan of the kid and desperately want him to do well but I'm not sure he is up to the standard required.
Opacic never really stood a chance.
Our defence was far too compressed there and he was left to mark up on 3 players.

What I'm expecting... Bench looks fucked.
If Kahu is in the side Bennett will probably run Opacic on the bench.
You're probably on the money there, was just thinking Bennett might reward Offa with a starting spot for the last couple of weeks. He has gone alright lately.Bennett seems to be liking having Thaiday on early though so you have to have him at prop, possibly to soak up the early hits and then bring someone better on when the other side tires a bit...
