GoIng by last year I don't think Griffen named any of the players backing up. I think we'll have to wait until game day to see who actually plays.

I recall Griffen saying he won't be resting players this year. That Saudi doubt Hodges will back up and given Thaiday is carrying an injury I doubt he will back up either.

Ryan Hoffman tore his calf in the Storm's first loss of the season and is expected to be sidelined for at least two weeks and, according to football operations manager Frank Ponissi, perhaps a month.

The loss of the in-form back-rower will be a blow to the Storm, which has a bye this round, especially with Sika Manu sidelined with an ankle injury until round 13 or 14, and Kevin Proctor in ''extreme doubt'' for next week's game against Brisbane after injuring a hamstring during training last week. Tohu Harris is also out with a knee injury.

I'll be at my senior formal when this game is on. It was a terrific effort last year against the Storm and it will be great if we can go one better against them this year. GO THE BRONCOS.

i dont think theres going to be any question about thaiday and hodges not backing up. certain they won't.

I wouldn't expect Petero either, even if he only plays 35-40 minutes of Origin. I'd only be expecting Hannant and Gillett to backup to be honest.

Can't wait, going to be going along as will still be down there after Origin. Anyone been to AAMI Park before? Where's best to sit? I see there is only single Cat 1 seats left, would it be best just to get GA tickets and get there early to get a good seat or get Cat 2/3??

I've been there once. I sat behind the goal posts but I really don't think you'd find a bad seat in the place to be honest.

I am in the same boat as you. Heading down fro Origin and going to the Broncos game as well. Last year I sat in the Opposition bay but it is right in the corner so this year I am going for GA

Which really isn't that bad.

The only Origin player we'll truly miss is Hodgo and we saw why on Friday.

As much as I think Bulla isn't getting enough time to show his worth - Show & Hannant thrive on more minutes & will be up for it. Te'o covers the right fringe really well and poses a bigger threat than Sam close to the line. He also makes it easy to bring Gillett on and he's a human highlight reel.

Nami, Dodds Sanderson or Hala might not be Petero or Thaiday but they can be counted out for short 20 minute bursts, especially against a Gallen-less Sharks, Rookie Roosters or Cows & Storm who will be as fatigued as we are.
