Im sorry, but we looked like we were straggling to keep.our head above water all game. We never got in the front foot. With 30 mins to go, and sharks dominating possession, I said to peeps around me " it's OK, we just have to wait for momentum to swing back to us..."
And that just never happened. We look so passive and predictable.
Im trying hard not to lose faith. We can still do it. Fucking sharpen up though, this has to be the wake up call.

I dont think its a fair criticism in the first half. We got pinned back with that run where we had all those 6 agains against us and we defended superbly. We just never really recovered from that and second half we got dominated.

Fucking pathetic effort from non origin players who mainly lost the game for us.
1. Oates has past it. Don’t deserve a place in 17.
17, should be out of the 30.

It's fucking true Wolfie, it's time dick fingers hung up the boots.

Well at least the big name forwards are putting in massively. Payne and patty our best tonight. Needed alot more from Mam and piakura. I can understand sailor being a bit underdone, probably hasn't caught a ball in 5 weeks and got it wrong which cost us two tries that were the difference.

Mariner not smart enough to play on the wing it seems. Don't know where he can play to be frank
You are talking about individual brilliance in a team game.

This isn't an injury, or error problem. This is a coaching, strategy problem. Kevin is in trouble.

I dunno, forwards have been losing all year but it felt highlighted by the origin fatigue and the sharks looking to exploit it.

We lost a lot of quality from the pack last year, what we’ve replaced them with is at times embarrassing.

Tough watch..

What they exploited was our bench.

Can’t hate on Oates club legend and no one better available to play

The stand out for me was that our back 3 all had shockers and the Sharks back 3 had blinders. Fletcher -Baker is that ordinary I reckon that we would be better playing with 12 men than have him in the side.

We just can't seem to adjust when teams are leaving early in defence and rushing us(and not being penalised). We either need to receive the ball deeper or run off a pivot so if they want to rush up in defence the line has to do it not just the 4-5 near the ball. What also didn't help was Walters having to stand then pass the ball causing our runners to have to check their runs to prevent over running him. Pass the ball from the ground like a proper dummy half FFS.

I don't know who the defence coach is but our passive defence is just woeful. I've been saying it all year. The first defender needs to go low not high then get carried 3-4 m then not even lock up the ball which gets off loaded. We also don't hit in tackles it's just grab and try to slow the play the ball. All this seems to allow is for the opposition to get quick play the balls or offload at will.

Cobbo looked like he had just played a mid week game and Carrigan really carries this team on his back.

It’s very apparent that we aren’t as good as we were last year. Lost too many players and injuries have hurt us this year. Our defense tonight was improved overall. Sharks must be the fittest team in the comp because their line speed was either the best ever or they were offside .

Cobbo can’t cope with backing up. Mariner and Sailor had poor games. Baker is just poo.

Are you new here mate?

Kevvie won 6 comps, coached the side out of the pits of hell, nearly won a GF last year. He's done, apparently.

It’s crazy how good we had it last season, pretty much no injuries throughout, Herbie Flegler, **** those were good times

We are definitely missing Herbi's metres coming from the back to start our sets, Mariner is not providing enough and Oates just can't hold the ball or eat up the metres like he used to.

Standing around like Browns farkin cows in defense, waiting for them to run at us and then conceding a stack of post contact metres or allowing the offload with four in the tackle..................the attitude is just farked.
Same story as last week. We look flat from kick off. The most concerning part is it’s fresh off a bye & a terrible display against the titans, so you would have thought they would come out with their tails up. Instead we looked pretty limp.

Our forward depth is pretty poor to begin with, but even with our best lineup our pack has no intimidation about it, it’s become very tradesman like.

It's looking scarily like we don't give a shit at the moment. No excuse for being that slow, sloppy, un-aggressive and lethargic coming off an embarrassing loss and a bye. We've clocked off. Something has gone terribly wrong at training because we look like a team on the EXIT end of the Origin period, not the beginning.

Oates is cooked, Baker is shit and Mam cannot carry the team on his own without Walsh and Reyno present. A lot of us said the season was over when Reyno went down and it's looking more true with every game.

Kicking - dogshit
Territory - dogshit
Tackle efficiency - dogshit
Possession - dogshit

You aren't winning against the fucking Tigers with metrics like that.
Agreed
Don’t even know what to complain about first
I doubt we will make the 8

Yeah, sack him, he's no good.

FFS, this forum is unbelievable.
You age like....milk?

Not sack Kevie, more about coaching strategy and recruitment. Briers is killing our team.

More than happy to proven wrong. We can both bring this comment and end of season.

We can talk about aged milk?
