I can't understand the one out plays at all. Every man and his dog know we have a small forward pack. So why continue to do one out hit ups and get smashed by bigger forwards. Just so dumb

whats more difficult to understand is the occasional times we do run two or three out and the forwards throw short balls at the line. it works well and then 15 minutes later they forget about it. wheres the coach? or onfield leader? mm... same old story.

If by "unguided missiles" you mean useless, heartless powder puffs...then yeah I agree.

we do have talent across most positions but lack it in the key areas. halves and hooker. and probably a good prop. this gives us no direction leadership guidance etc. so you need to make up for that with smart coaching and playing in a way that we can overcome those positional problems, but we simply dont do that. even the strengths of certain players seemed to be coached out of them eg gillet hitting holes etc.

couple that with a clearly poor attitude for large parts of games and its just a recipe for terrible football.

we need to first get to the bottom of the attitude and application problem. why do we look disinterested? is it the coach? are players unhappy with one another? are they just burnt out or do they just take what they have for granted?

once we have a team that wants to win and shows pride in that jersey for 80 mins then we can start to worry about positional and talent problems. for me that is a long way off right now.

Get rid of Norman. Time's up, no use flogging a dead and gone horse.

McCullough keeping his spot over Hunt by the barest of margins. Both are under-performing to their ability and stage of development. Both need a wake up call. Hunt needs to learn how to play 7 against the big boys.

Granville to be given a spot because he is performing beyond his ability and at/beyond his stage of development. I've been impressed with J.Wallace this year, though he is getting minimal time from Hook. Hala is getting the minutes but is ineffective. Dodds has always been good defensively, but lacked a hit up, which he seems to have developed in the off season.

The Warriors game was the experiment. It failed, and the players reverted to their comfortable roles in this team with Wallace at 7.

If the Broncos get tonked this week by the Tiger cubs, Thaiday should step aside as captain, Griffin should resign and White should face the public about what is actually going on at the club.

This isn't 4 straight losses. It is a consistent failure since Round 12 last year for the team to perform and Hook does not have the solution.

Kearney as interim coach.

Reform the alliance with the Thoroughbreds and throw every cent, promise and favour at Wayne Bennett to come back in a 2/3 year deal to mentor either Kevvie Walters or Darren Lockyer to take this team into the next generation.

We're going to get smashed over the remaining weeks of Origin, may as well take a punt.

I'd really like to see Thaiday back in the second row. Still don't think it matters a huge deal in the grand scheme of things though.

Elephant in the room in the back row is Alex Glenn. I see Matt Gillett copping a lot of flak here, but Glenn has been horrible this year. He started showing some glimpses last night, some of those angled runs running flat...but he's still picking the wrong lines, and his timing still seems off.

With hannant back thaiday needs to move to the secondrow with Glenn benched maybe Gillett shouldn't play 80 either but he doesn't appear to tire and still has a lot of impact when he runs (constantly fending off players). Glenns defense this season has been comparitively poor and due to him pacing himself he hasinal impact. Hala needs to start running onto the ball with speed (same with Sam although he dropped it the one time he did last night.). Dodds should be put other benchie with Wallace slyney Sanderson and staff our depth players. I vote Granville over hunt while hunt relearns to play 7 in qcup. Although hunt is better defensively. Prince should call the plays as he isba much more natural playmaker and is a much better runner while Norman and Wallace should mostly kick. They're usually good at it. Most of all I want Norman to put some effort in. He doesn't run with any purpose and he doesn't support the ball carrier. Maybe Hoffman should be in fb for defense

Don't be too excited about the team named today. It won't be the final team. My guess is they'll name the same 17 + Hannant.
