Round 14 Discussion

It's clear Edwards is out to test Thurston's shoulder.

Fucking hell. Thurston is destroying the Eels.

Ppl whinge when Manly's home game is at Suncorp. Nobody whinges when Parra's home game is taken to Darwin. Cowfucks draw can't get any fucking easier. Next week they magically get Melbourne without their big 3.

They are closing the gap to us in for/against atm too.

I swear if they are the 1st fucking team to put on 50 points....

And Cowboys will be missing Thurston, Morgan and likely Hess...

Yeah Darwin and Townsville is the same as Manly to Suncorp you are right....

Love him or loathe him, he is just the best player going around now. I think his longevity and just ability and competitiveness make him the greatest 7 ever.

It's sure looking like a Cows/Melbourne Grand Final this year. Melbourne once again on the top of the world, and Slater is firing. Cowboys have Thurston firing too. Other teams seem quite a bit behind.

Too early. Will largely depend on who gets the least injuries like every year.

That was an ominous performance from the Cowboys, easily their best of the season. While Thurston will attract all the headlines, I thought the players around him gave him plenty of time and space to work with and he made the most of it. Granville was sharp out of dummy half, Coote and Morgan were good foils and the forward pack was relentless. In the end, they're probably unlucky they didn't put more points on the Eels.

After a big fortnight, the Eels' form just bottomed out. The new combinations didn't gel, Norman, Moses & Gutho were completely lost and Radradra was very poor. They're just a few key players short of being a top side, Pritchard has done a reasonable job but he's merely a fill-in being asked too much of himself. The forward pack is missing a bit of quality as well, only Ma'u & Brown seem to perform consistently for them.

You could probably add Cronulla to that list. The rest are just making up the numbers atm.

Thurston is the greatest player to lace a boot imo.
Playing ability-wise I agree with you. I may be biased but I will always prefer Lockyer because he isn't a whinging liittle bitch, Thurston is a poor loser.

You have to be retired 5 years to become an immortal anyway so pretty sure he won't be the next one. He will get there one day though.

I see Thurston basically told peter badel to **** off in the press conference last night. Not to happy with the ill informed doctors article I guess

JT deserves Immortal Status for that alone.

Onya Thursto, now go win Origin II and III.
