Eels ain't too bad when they want to be. Should have beaten Penrith a couple of weeks ago too. Hopefully they get get rewarded for their effort with a win against the Dragons next week.
Agree with all of that especially the last part. Certain people on here will just disagree with everything Kevvie does. He could have said yeah we need to hope for results and try to win these next 2 games and they would say “way to inspire confidence”. It’s pretty pathetic but not unexpected.I thought after that horrible first 10 minutes, we were pretty decent given we had three huge names out still in Walsh, Haas and Mam. Some of you guys need to temper your expectations. We won against a team clearly up for it from the start and who we’ve had trouble against in recent years. All good signs.
And as for the presser, for some of you, Kevvie could have said the opposite and you’d still bag him out. Can’t win that poor bloke no matter what he says or does.
Tristan basically played the same game, albeit somewhat muted, but he didn't cough it up. I was pleasantly surprised by his performance. We gathered momentum when Mozer took control of dummy half. Rogers wasn't woeful. One thing we learned tonight, Walsh can pretty much name his price because we are putrid in attack without him
Smart challenge.I have to laugh at that Parra challenge on half time.
Mariner places his hands on Gutho and Gutho literally kicks the ball dead but it gets deemed a push.
Mind-boggling that was successful.
No rule or interpretation changes on this pointthought they changed the rule that if you were shepherding the ball over the line you were fair game
He looked a broken man up in the box. He knows the only thing between him and the dole queue is convincing his team to play like every game from now on is a domino in the Premiership. So yeah, he has to talk it up.I thought after that horrible first 10 minutes, we were pretty decent given we had three huge names out still in Walsh, Haas and Mam. All Kevvie has to do is let the results on field do the talking…Agree with all of that especially the last part. Certain people on here will just disagree with everything Kevvie does. Yeh, there were a couple of times I got excited when he made a half break. He needs to invest in a sprint training coach in the off-season. Just that extra split second of explosive power off the mark would have seen him through on a few occasions last night.Roger’s was impressive for the most part. You’ve got to remember he’s the third string half and he had just an ounce more speed, he would have opened them quite a few more times. Could be a nice stop gap 7 to bridge Reynolds to Black if needed.
Patrick romps it in.If these ***** at the Broncos give that money grabbing Payne Haas the player of the year again when he doesnt deserve over King Patty i'm going to riot.
Have to admit I found it harder to come back after the first 15 minutes than the team did. I honestly couldn't tell you whether whether we won or Parramatta choked. I did think our spine started looking more fluent when Mozer came on, but it was Tristan gaining confidence that caught my attention most.Roger’s was impressive for the most part. No surprises there. But if you think Billy is one-dimensional and predictable, watch Brendan Hands. Another hooker who tanks his spine. He can play 80, though.Mazer is 1000000000% better than billy, it’s getting downright awkward now.

It was both. Parra started to choke when Patty & Reyno took it to them.Have to admit I found it harder to come back after the first 15 minutes than the team did.
