Yep finals destiny is in our hands. We are good enough and we'll win this game in Melbourne because after last week, the refs HAVE to be on our side and the NRL knows it.

Unfortunately for us Smith, Slater and Cronk are all fit and reporting for duty. As other posters have said, the Storm get the basics right. They complete their sets, one on one defense is pretty good, good kicking game etc. Despite our recent good form, we haven't done the basics at a consistently high level for us to be a chance. I can't see us besting them in Melbourne. Despite their indifferent form, they seem to have an axe to grind against the Broncos and always produce their best. I guess they took 2006 personally. . .
If we win though, it would be a victory for the ages and agree that we are the team to beat if we get there.

I think it goes back before 2006.
Storm were a bogey side for Broncos before then. I think it's because of Bellamy..

Isn't it more than this though?
If we beat the Storm, but the Warriors beat the Panthers by 8 points more than we beat the Storm, we are out, as are the Storm.
There is no consolation in the Storm missing out if we win and miss out too

The two teams out of the 8 who can still make it are Warriors and Eels.
Warriors are +100, Eels are -100 (rounded)
If we win, the Eels are done, and we'll be above the storm on F/A. So there's 9 teams into 8, and we can't be 9th on the list.
If we lose, we need Eels and Warriors to both lose.
