Not looking good. If this continues we have to beat storm and hope warriors lose to panthers.
Had to think about this one.Pus Fooled and the Petty Penises
They are still a very good team but they are on the decline. Once the Big 3 and Bellamy retire there is every chance they will slip down the table. Without Smith, Slater and Cronk the Storm are not even close to the same thing.
Unfortunately for us Smith, Slater and Cronk are all fit and reporting for duty. As other posters have said, the Storm get the basics right. They complete their sets, one on one defense is pretty good, good kicking game etc. Despite our recent good form, we haven't done the basics at a consistently high level for us to be a chance. I can't see us besting them in Melbourne. Despite their indifferent form, they seem to have an axe to grind against the Broncos and always produce their best. I guess they took 2006 personally. . .
If we win though, it would be a victory for the ages and agree that we are the team to beat if we get there.
This game will be all about self belief. Who wants to go to the finals more
Isn't it more than this though?
If we beat the Storm, but the Warriors beat the Panthers by 8 points more than we beat the Storm, we are out, as are the Storm.
There is no consolation in the Storm missing out if we win and miss out too
