Round 7 Discussion

Inglis taking the easy option out
tell you what, I don't care where matt Scott's arm was, that was a shoulder charge
he was leading with his shoulder and threw his arm in at the last moment
alot of players are doing this at the moment

had a good night in supercoach ive has ethan lowe, jonathon thurston and sam burgess

What a stunning set play. Shit the Cowboys are playing great football.

So.. I don't think Rabbitohs turned up to play tonight.

Sure they did, just at the wrong stadium.

Napa did it 5 or 6 times last week. Matt Scott did it 5 or 6 times tonight. I guess it's allowed.

I've got a really good feeling that we will put on a big score against Souths next Friday if they don't think of something to fire them up. Reynolds being back did improve them a bit especially Keary but they need someone up front to lay the platform for them. None of their forwards are doing that even Sam Burgess is going badly.

Atm, the difference between us and the Cows is that the Cows just keep playing better and better as the match progresses, putting the opposition to the sword, whereas we are doing just enough to stay in front. This really worries me.

The Burgii's hands again. 5 errors between them.

Souths have no hunger. With Sam coming back everyone's just assumed he'd carry the team again, so they've all just clocked off. I don't think they have it in them mentally to do the hard work that won them a premiership.

Cowboys will get a few injuries soon enough and will come back to the field. The laws of chance says it has to happen. Cowboys have been incredibly lucky injury-wise.

Well done to the cowboys, but the ref put away the whistle for offside on the kick chase and JT's forward passes off the ruck. Some of them looked really badly forward.

Doesn't worry me
they are like Souths last year they are peaking early
nobody thought anyone was gonna touch Souths in the first couple of rounds

Two more things:

1) They haven't been tested. Even when behind they've put on their standard plays and they've stuck. It won't happen every week.

2) They've never put in a full season. They've either started strong and faded, or started slow and woken up half way through the season. If they're going well now, expect them to drop their shit after Origin.

Hope you're right. Thing is, for me they are playing as a coherent fluid team in attack and defence, and they have genuine leadership in the backs and forwards, they are all playing for each other, know their positions, know their plays, are executing really well. Somehow, I just can't see that falling apart unless JT gets injured.

For mine, they are the real deal. But as you say, time will tell, and we are of course all class, but it's our on field leadership that is at this stage, one of our weaknesses I hope to see redressed and soon, as well as Hunt's hopeful improvement each game. Hunt's form is pivotal to our future.

I know you want the broncos to do well like every other fan but pinning hopes on injuries to other teams is pretty poor ... they're never a good thing, no matter who they happen to.

ummm.... Where did I say I hope they get injured?

Thats what people thought last year & we all know how that ended up.
They're definitely the form side along with Parra atm

Cowboys and Eels are the form teams and yet we've beaten both of them despite being for the most part in second gear, says a lot about how high our ceiling really is, despite not being near it yet.
