Scott Prince Is Back - OFFICIAL!

Re: Scott Prince

Oh yeah, the dude who has consistently performed over a few years that we wouldn't have to pay bulk overs for? No, wait..

Re: Scott Prince

**** me. Prince-Wallace... That has the other nrl teams quaking in their boots...

Re: Scott Prince

Just on Foxsports that Prince has rejected the Hull deal & one of the panel members said the rumour is Prince is going to the Broncos.

Re: Scott Prince

As much as I'm a fan of Scott Prince I don't see the value of him joining the Broncos. I think both Norman & Hunt are off contract next season. Prince won't be a long term prospect and if Norman and/or Hunt aren't getting adequate game time they'll be off. It really doesn't make much sense.

Re: Scott Prince

Obviously it's not a long term solution, but I'm not totally against it... intrigued to see how he'd go.

I think we have an extremely strong team, but what let us down the most this year was the inconsistency of our halves.

Re: Scott Prince

Agreed on most of those points ning, however Prince has not been great for the last 2 years.

What channel on fox sports kaz

Re: Scott Prince

Sorry it was Sportsline 601 (the news channel)

Re: Scott Prince

I reckon it would probably pretty much mean Hunt and Norman are gone too. I would have liked to see Hunt given a proper go, but Norman leaving would be great. I can just imagine a scenario like

Gee - "Norman, pass me your contract, we want to sign you for 4 more years."
Norman - "...what the hell is a pass?"
Gee - "You know what? Get out."

Re: Scott Prince

If Prince did come here it would show hook is desperatley seeking short term sucess. On the bright side of things he would probably direct the team around better than what Norman-Wallace did this year. Prince is 33 and past his best so I don't think it will be a great signing.

Re: Scott Prince

I don't think short-term success is bad. I actually like it, a premiership can make you feel good for years to come. Signing Prince isn't exactly any form of "success" though.

Re: Scott Prince

Well if he comes cheap as (which apparently he will as the titans have had to pay him a settlement) and he is here for a year to tide is over until we either sign someone better or Norman learns what the f*** to do, then it's a very good signing IMO

Re: Scott Prince

if he comes i will accept it and cheer him and us on but jeez, it just doesnt feel like a move we should be making at all.

Re: Scott Prince

if it happens it will just be an opportunistic signing, between the titans probably carrying a bit of his salary and any third party payments that he can bring across with him, he won't take up much on the cap and in return we get an experienced player in an area where our squad lacks some experience, doesn't mean anything for Norman. I don't see how it is a negative.

Re: Scott Prince

My opinion hasn't really changed although I'm trying to be optimistic.

Maybe at a club like the Broncos he can rediscover some of his best form?

It definitely seems like an about-face although I believe the club's view will be like: Yeah, but there were always exceptions to our approach and a player of Prince's ability falls under that.

Re: Scott Prince

broncos love buying back players that have once played for us.. thorn, civo, hodges, devere, hannant to name a few... definitely could be true
