Seibold signs with Broncos for 4 years

Whilst I do think a swap between the 2 coaches is best for all parties to happen now, I do not understand why we have to pay Bennett out. To me, most of these reports seem like the Rabbits are deseperate to get rid of Seibold, however White and Bennett have both publicly stated numerous times that Bennett will see out his contract.
If Souffs are so desperate, surely they can chip in at least half of the $ for Wayne’s payout.

Hopefully south’s would just sack seibold tomorrow and he comes up to be an assistant to get to know the players. It’ll never happen though.

The media put out headlines that we are in crisis and we need to pay him out as it sells the most papers. Anyone with common sense can see that souths are in the more vulnerable position, unfortunately this is an area the rugby league media in this country is greatly lacking in

Where's the uncertainty? It seems as though the uncertainty doesn't exist anywhere but in the minds of the cockgobblers who want WB gone right now, this minute. Everyone knows exactly where WB will be next year and there isn't any equivocation in his statement to that effect. Fucking scum media endlessly asking players about something they have no control over.

The use of the word untenable on a forum such as this is untenable. I’m so fucking sick of this ridiculous word being thrown around completely out of place. See description of the word below. Considering that there are opposing views both with pros and cons about the coaches either staying out or swapping, it’s obviously not untenable. Therefore WB staying at the Broncs is not untenable, it’s controversial. The media has lost it. I don’t care what the coaches do because WB staying is good for 2019 but maybe not great for the years following and WB going is not great for 2019 but probably better for the years following. This topic is rotting.

“Untenable and its opposite tenable come to us from Old French tenir and ultimately from Latin tenēre, both of which mean "to hold." We tend to use untenable in situations where an idea or position is so off base that holding on to it is unjustified or inexcusable. One way to hold on to the meaning of "untenable" is to associate it with other tenēre descendants whose meanings are associated with "holding" or "holding on to." Tenacious" ("holding fast") is one example. Others are contain, detain, sustain, maintain, and retain.” Miriam and Webster

Yes, finally somebody is brave enough to address the real issue here - semantics.

The onus is now on Brisbane to bring the matter to a head, even if it requires paying out the final year of Bennett’s contract. Meanwhile, Seibold is already back at work at Redfern, beginning a pre-season he may not see out.
Who writes this crap?

Anyone who buys into what the media says about the Broncos are idiots. Good or bad.

They have an agenda. It's never as bad as they make out and they'll never be sincere if they write good things about us.

Simply, don't buy into it. Ever. It's fun to read though. Wayne will be here in 2019.

I think you will find you are very much mistaken with your belief. As I've been saying ad-naseum for the past 2 months, Wayne will not be here coaching us in 2019. Why is it so hard for some people to accept. He's gone, good riddance to him. Deal with it.

Cool, that's your opinion, it isn't mine. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

It's a total guess though.

I say WB will be here in 2019.

My guess is I'm eating Pizza while typing this

My guess is he won't be here.

I think you'll find that Bennett is more likely to be our coach in 2019 than not ...

what you need to remember is that the Broncos are a publicly traded company, which means that they need to answer to shareholders about every single $ they spend.

the only chance that Bennett won't be here in 2019 is if the Rabbitohs pay the full freight (and Bennett agrees to leave).
