Hahahaha

DISGRUNTLED NRL star Greg Inglis has told close friends he is considering walking away from the code to play rugby union in the south of France for Toulon.
A day after Queensland Origin teammate Justin Hodges warned that Inglis was ready to quit the NRL,
The Courier-Mail has learnt the Maroons centre is being courted by the same club which poached Sonny Bill Williams. Disillusioned over an ongoing $113,000 legal wrangle with the Melbourne Storm, Inglis has confided in members of his inner circle about quitting rugby league for the anonymity of French rugby.
"You're right, he's over it and he's seriously talking about walking away," a source close to Inglis said.
Eccentric multimillionaire Toulon owner Mourad Boudjellal has previously made a play to lure Inglis to Toulon when the Storm salary cap scandal broke in April.
Inglis instead opted to seek a release from the final two years of his Melbourne contract and signed with the Brisbane Broncos. But as of last night, there were no guarantees Inglis would be based at Red Hill next season.
The direct link with Toulon is further enhanced by the connection between Inglis' agent Allan Gainey and the French rugby club. Gainey has previously done deals with Toulon, inking a two-year contract for former NSW Origin winger Luke Rooney midway through 2008.
The Melbourne Storm legal dispute is centred around Inglis being charged with assault against his fiance, Sally Robinson, in August last year. Intent on protecting the Storm's brand, the club hired a top-ranking QC to defend Inglis, with the end result being a legal bill for $113,000.
Inglis expected the Storm to foot the expense but the club has maintained the centre should pay $30,000 of it. So far the Storm have refused to release Inglis from the final two years of his deal to join the Broncos.
The NRL should just loosen up and allow this to go off the cap.ningnangnong said:FFS. Any other club and the NRL would step in and sort this out, but we always seem to get overlooked.
If Inglis ends up in another code, I will be thoroughly pissed off. We've already lost Izzy and Hunt, surely the NRL won't let another big name go?

The payment obviously eusa_think Melbourne Storm don't want to pay it because it would come out of their cap and we won't pay it for the same reason. NRL loosen up, relax the rules for this(after all it's not every day a club massively rorts the cap for 5 years straight) and just allow to be considered outside of the cap.ningnangnong said:broncospwn said:The NRL should just loosen up and allow this to go off the cap.ningnangnong said:FFS. Allow what exactly, to go off the cap?
Would you give up 30k+ so easily just because you wanted a job? Especially when you can get double or more by going to another job anyway? The Rock said:Why can't Inglis just pay the cash and come to Brisbane. If he wanted to be hear enough then he'd do that I reckon.

Why should he.
Going by reports he told them to stop when the bill hit about $80,000 & he paid them the $80,000.
Waldron hired the Barrister. (Probably a job for one of the boys)

Joel Monaghan would be a cheap buy. [icon_evillaugh
I still think it will be sorted out once all the parties stop posturing and reach a compromise, that includes Schubert. However, if it was to fall through Copley would be heavily in the frame i would imagine, the market is pretty bare on bluechip backs atm.Bucking Beads said:I have a feeling we won't be seeing Inglis in a Bronco jersey after all.
