Try it and see. The ladder is only a media construct, for communications, like a graph. It has no bearing on the competition until the end of the season at which point the byes are irrelevant. It’s not “official”

Last time I looked the ladder predictor didn’t add the 2 points for byes.

Specialist goal kicker. I see no reason why your goal kicker needs to be on the field, or even a player. An even bigger deal in Union where 90% of the points come from penalties. Such an exciting game.
