McGuire is the only one worthy atm.
McGuire and Gillett will get picked, no one else is an incumbent or even close to good enough based on early season form.
They don’t become incumbents based on club form, though. It’s what they do in the Origin arena.
We will lose more than just Gillett and McGuire.
Bird? I can't think of anyone else.

I've lost all faith in the selection process if Boyd is picked over Holmes. As Nashy said, Boyd would definitely be picked as well for that left wing spot. He is the leading try-scorer.
Holmes has been pretty damn ordinary this season and the chances of him being picked are slim.
Keep in mind he was only there because of injuries.
Milford is a chance for the utility spot. Walters is a fan of him.

More then half of Boyd's try's have been catching the ball and falling over the line, I can't remember any individual try's like the ones Holmes did for Australia
Inglis and Boyd are both shadows of thier glory day for QLD, and when they were on fire Inglis was reasonable for most of Boyd's try's because he would draw several defenders before passing it to Boyd, so I wouldn't read into his record of most try's for QLD to much. The loyalty card will bite them in the ass the same way it continues to bite the Broncos in the ass. It's the same for Holmes in Origin..
But why does it matter how they were scored? The only thing that matters is that they were scored. Quite a few of Boyd's tries were difficult tries to score, as well.
Right now Holmes is stinking it up more than Boyd and the Inglis/Boyd combination is a proven combination that's terrorized the Blues since 2008.
It's a no brainer for the selectors and a good selection to make.
I disagree, no way Boyd gets picked ahead of Oates, Feldt, Holmes or Gagai on a wing.
Has anyone else noticed how shit our fan base has been over the last few years? It's like they're a bunch of bandwagoners that hop on awhen we are playing great and hop off as soon as we aren't winning by 30 points. The players seem to be playing the same way. If things aren't working for them they have a sook and don't put in any effort.
It's embarrassing really. Opposition fans are noticing too. The silence at games when we are leading, people trying to start Mexican waves when we are down by 20 with 20 to go, half of this site admit to supporting 2nd teams! I get that everyone supports the club differently but Broncos fans suck and it needs to change. We are hated by every other club yet we treat their players like long lost family members. We need to embrace the hate and give other teams a reason to hate us.Was just about to post something very similar. It's disappointing but not surprising.
