OK, I saw a bit of the Opening Ceremony. Coxy, Bryan Adams stuffed up. He not only lip-synched, but he missed the start of the song. FAIL.

BTW. I thought it was pretty touching when the Georgian team walked inside the stadium and everyone stood up.

Meh, all I saw of the opening ceremony was Sarah McLachlan and then KD Lang drone on and on with Hallelujah.

Go Aussie Dale in the Moguls!!!! Hope he wins again - qualified 4th from this morning's round. Finals about to start.

He just skiied his round - nearly perfect and currently sitting in 1st possie with three skiiers to go. I am so excited and on the edge of my seat - I have butterflies.

Begg-Smith gets Silver. It seriously took a f***en seriously awesome run to beat him - Canada win their first ever home-soil Winter Olympics Gold medal.

And technically Canada got 4 of the first 5 spots.

Yeah, well I maintain that the only genuine Aussie winter olympics gold medallist was Alisa Camplin...home grown, and didn't rely on everyone else to fall over to win ;-) LOLZ

Well we all know that you are in lust with Alisa so are biased. In Bradbury's case, the idea of the sport is to be quickest across the line and the quickest way to get across the line is to stay on your bloody feet. And Begg-Smith CHOSE us - he CHOSE to stay out of the sport completely for three years so he could compete for us.

Yeah, look at Dale on screen there...so passionate to have won silver for Australia. That passionate little wave to the Aussies in the crowd...what an Aussie hero. :P
