I don't feel like we should throw him into the deep end and hope for the love of god he floats.

At least he won't drag other players to the bottom of the pool, like Norman has.

why do we have this attitude that any young players at the broncs need to be babied into the NRL?.

I agree.

I think that's the major problem, Hook moddle coddles the younger players.

And when they finally make first grade (when injuries happen) some of them stuff up, probably because at the back of their mind they don't think they aren't good enough to be there because Hook has wrapped them up in cotton wool.

Lol, 22 say yes, 1 votes no.

I've never seen such a lopsided poll on BHQ.

Any player who repeatedly bombs a try by not passing the ball, almost every week, does not deserve to be in the team.

He is not and never has been, a FB. Hook's "loyalty" is simply unacceptable and results show it

If Reed misses out next week,

1. Kahu/Hoffman
2. Hoffman/Kahu
3. Oates
4. Hodges
5. Kemp, I guess

I wouldn't even mind Hoffman at fullback, it's not like Norman passes the ball either.

Make it happen.

Hey Jeba 1910 ethos as our resident QCup enthusiasts would you mind telling us how Joe Bond has been performing in 2013? On form does he deserve to play first grade?

Waking up with a mild hangover, scan the news and post match media. No mention of DROPPED COREY NORMAN.

My quest continues.

Honestly, it's not only CN. It's the decision to rebuild for 2014, and he's not part of those plans.

First player dropped.

If (which is most likely) Barba or no other signing comes, what's the plan for FB for 2014? Why wait until Round 1 to iron out that issue.

IF Barba doesn't sign the fullback for 2014 will either be Josh Hoffman or Jordan Kahu.

Right now, we can't afford to move Hoffman from the wing and Kahu is nursing a broken thumb and is coming off two knee reconstructions.

If Barba is coming next year - no.

If Barba is not coming next year -yes. Time to give the 2014 fullback a shot.

Yes! **** yes! Drop the ball bag. It's long overdue. Tbh I don't give a **** about our depth because our season is over. The only productive thing to do know is try and prepare options for next year so at least we achieved something this year.

Corey Norman is a disgrace and has absolutely no pride in the team that has developed him. Continuing to reward he's poor form and shit attitude is a bad look to all the other guys that are trying there guts out.

I would much rather Hoffman at fullback, at least he makes great meters, breaks tackles and tries he's absolute hardest. I would rather watch Hoffman not pass because its something that he is working on but can't do yet, than watch Norman not pass because he is a greedy arsehole

All I can say is its going to be fucking hilarious watching Parra fans blow up delux at Norman next year considering they're so convinced of this coup signing.

He's a selfish player but if dropping him means keeping Maranta then I'd rather Norman stay. At least he can do something.

Won't be half a funny as listening to the silence around here and the cheering from the Eels fans when they chuckle and say thanks Brisbane after Norman turns into one of their better buys over the last decade.......

I voted no .....btw.

It sucks that you've missed most of our games this season. Do you work Friday nights?

......I've watched all Brisbane's games.

Including the ones when our backline looked sharper than it has since Lockyer was around and Norman has been putting Hoffman and co away to score.
