This is a breach of NRL protocol rules. He will face sanctions from the club on top of the NRL.

Another day, another Broncos drama, i mentioned in another thread that i wake up each day and check the news expecting more Broncos drama, so far they are not letting me down.

As far as TPJ go's, he knows the position we are in, he knows the effect he would have being sat for 2 weeks, i say rip his contract up and let him go.

By far, the worst. And that includes the horror 1999 run that made Alfie quit (funny that, quit because he couldnt perform and felt responsible...personal pride...what a legend) and the Henjak years.

I've been getting my younger one to be a Broncos fan and last year he was really into it - he's getting over watching Brisbane get destroyed and barely wants to watch the games anymore. The players will lose more fans than they'll gain - children don't want to wait for "3 years" to see if the club will learn from this - they need to see signs now. And let's face it, without kids following the game we'll end up with a competition watched by 50+ year olds soon enough.

Careful that can lead the other way, if you already have a immature playing staff and they're throwing toys everywhere and you sack the coach to appease them it doesn't set them up it just makes them think they can keep doing it almost 100% you will be sacking another coach in 18 months when they don't like him.
