he was permitted to play at community rugby league level ... no higher by the QRL.

the NRL and Vlandys would make the decision if an NRL club tried to sign him

We all know it’s just a matter of time. He wouldn’t be doing this if he wasn’t planning on a return to NRL.

NRL have already said they would have him back in the game when the Dragons were exploring the possibility of signing him earlier in the year.

While that whole process is taking place, Kevvie and Ikin can sort out a deal with Folau for when he does return.

I don’t care about his beliefs, I do care about the sideshow he has become. He doesn’t care about anyone but himself, he’s latched himself to Palmer and is now suing the qrl, taking money away from junior rugby league. He’s always been a selfish two faced prick, he made his bed when he fucked off to afl, let him lay in it. We aren’t going through all this pain now and getting rid of the selfish entitled dickheads from the club only to import another one.

Who cares? There’s selfish entitled pricks in every side. He’s a winner. He wins games. That’s the criteria that matters.

I know I said I don't care about the Broncos ethics, what I mean is within reason. Hiring bigoted fuckwits to play for us is too much. Footy already sucks enough to watch atm, I don't need a moral dilemma going on at the same time.

Cronk 61 ISC games
Smith 28 ISC games
Munster 46 ISC games
Slater 23 ISC games
Inglis 24 ISC games
Grant 48 ISC games

It was good enough for all these guys, to slowly cook and get ready but not for Walsh. I have no doubt in my mind Bellamy would have made Walsh play for the Falcons.

Walker played three games for the Bears and it would have been more if the Roosters weren't injury riddled.

Kevvie did nothing wrong. He wasn't making it part of the contract you will play 34 ISC games. It was just the plan to give him some games to find his feet. Coming off all the debuts over the last two years it was sensible. Doesn't mean that in four weeks you don't say mate you're up we need you now- which is what I think would have happened anyway.
Spot on. At first glance it might seem KW did the wrong thing but it's always been the Broncos way to give a youngster time in the lower grades. I must say though, if ever you wanted to play kids against men, now's the time. Just about no one is going high so...

Appears Gus is enjoying our plight. Doesn’t seem all that long ago we were showing him our systems so he could improve Penrith. Lot of water under the bridge since then though.

Because the st George broncos are going amazing...

Capewell and Gagai both done deals, they have same management team along with Reynolds.
The Broncos are waiting for a good time to announce it I guess?

I must be watching a different Oates because there is more to being a winger then just scoring tries.....would he not be found out out on his wing leaving gapping holes, will he not catch the ball from bombs opposition teams specifically target him for because they know he couldn't catch a cold? Oates is a great example of a player so reliant on scoring tries that people ignore the glaring issues elsewhere then when the tries dry up your left with the truth. Renouf wasn't the strongest defender out there but he worked his ass off not to be a liability.

Pencils away, biros out.

Badel (top bloke) reckons the Broncos have offered Capewell a revised three-year deal worth more than $1.5 million. He describes the Broncos as being "on the verge of signing" him.

Capewell’s manager Clinton Schifcofske earlier on:

“A return to Queensland definitely appeals to him. He will weigh up all options and see what’s on the table. The Broncos showed some interest in the pre-season. We met with them but unfortunately the deal wasn’t the right deal at the time. I’m hopeful the Broncos will come back to us. He would be perfect for the Broncos, he is exactly what they need, an edge back-rower who is versatile and a leader. The Broncos have a lot of young forwards so to have an experienced leader who has played Origin and is a Queensland kid, it would be a good fit for the club.”
