Firstly I'll deal with how I view myself and my capacity to reason and understand. It's true I have above average intelligence and above average abilities. These observations are not mine but the view of the many who have tested me. That being the case it follows that there are many who feel inadequate when engaging with me. This inadequacy cannot be blamed on me because it is caused by an unflattering but accurate self evaluation.

Secondly, my views are seldom a rant. They are very nicely expressed, considered and well written. No surprise there.

Thirdly, I do not insult those who respond in a thinking manner. I also do not insult others for self-aggrandisement. I have no need for such banality. For some it is the lingua franca , the bridge between us if you like.

Fourthly , I am able to differentiate between what I'd like to believe is a widespread and commonly held belief and with the common view actually held.

Lastly I will point out the blatantly obvious ( for the reason most bright ones amongst you will appreciate ) and say, justice for Allan Langer will be decided by fully matured people not by some inexperienced reactionaries . Although you (picture yourself here if you like, make it personal,get angry and hostile) disagree and want to make it an emotive,confused and ill-considered response cool heads (unlike yours) will decide his fate.

LOL....and only Coxy did'nt bite .He clearly is brighter than most of his fellow posters. The others cannot differentiate between idle boast and accurate description. I take no credit for being above average nor should those of you who slip below shoulder any responsibility for being less well equipped.

The latter group seemed to infer that from my post that I hold an inflated view of myself, this is as is usual for them, incorrect. I hold an accurate estimation but this is only after years of reflection and introspection . As one of our greats said, know thyself. Naturally, most of this is wasted on the contributors on this site but of those capable of comprehension this self evident truth will be acknowledged.

Strangely , nowhere in my previous post do I make any boastful claim although ,at a stretch, one could feel my second point is self praising although the words themselves give that a lie.

lynx compares him/her self with a hamster, browny simply uses insult,tkday looks for a cheap laugh(fails) draggx is unable to compose a response and pats browny on the back(an even weaker response than brownys).scmix attempts irony and broncospwn does what he always does...misses the point altogether. He actually thinks my post was egotistical .

broncospwn would infer that Tiger Woods was bragging if you asked Tiger to describe the 18 months prior to him becoming world number one. No matter how Tiger expressed himself the mere description of the events would be enough for broncspwn and his ilk to feel as though Tiger were bragging and that really says it all does'nt it. If you feel inadequate and we all know broncospwn does then can we really expect any other result ??

Who are you to say how I feel? You know nothing about me.

If I heard someone describe themselves as above average I would first have to know what average is then decide for myself, on the evidence presented, whether or not the statement was accurate.

That's what separates us broncospwn. You are probably a humble and modest person and with good reason. You have much to be humble about.
